While looking for something else, I came across these 3D reels of 1950's movie stars. Thought it might be of interest to someone.

Lol almost forgot about "Star Wars - Episode I", its the 2 headed sports announcer during the pod race.
(my previous post was pun)
scsu1975, was you thinking about "Airplane!" when Lloyd Bridges was giving conflicting orders to the Siamese twins?

Since we are on the subject of Japanese films, if anyone remembers, what ever happened to the Japanese superhero "Starman" who fought villians using gymnastics?
This could make a good TCM Saturday matinee

-
I just thought of a perfect 2 headed horror flick, "The Two Headed Man Driving a Toyota"
turn left, no turn right, no turn left

Well we are talking about the Japanese. Try to understand that mindset.
ah shoot, I forgot to turn the kitchen light off

How about a western movie that was not shot in the west but was not even shot in this country.

Explains why the "Trinity" movies are known as spaghetti westerns.

I think that was also a recent CBS soap opera plot.

This is why I like Directv's simple approach to plot descriptions. Always simple and straight to the point.
"The Big Sleep Well" (1960) Japanese police and a tychoon's son-in-law discover corporate corruption.

This is proof positive that glasses are not needed.

Website Suggestion
On the next website update (shutter) why not place a trash can icon at the top right so we can discard unwanted threads or post shortly after creation. One will only need to right click "drop and drag" to the trash can.

The one thing that made me laugh today is hearing about the *Tickle House* (Eric Massa) on Jay Leno.
A bit tickled though that Jay is back on "The Tonight Show" @ 11:35 PM

What is with 3D anyhow? The last "Titanic" was good enough, no need for a make over. I think showing this tragedy in 3D of the ship sinking and people dying in the cold Alantic is a bit morbid.
What's next "Pearl Harbor" in 3D? Or the next 9/11 movie?
It might be interesting if they made a movie about the people who had money invested in the White
Star Lines.

So sad, I got to know him as a child watching the old "Mission Impossible" TV series. Really liked him in the "Airplane!" comedy"
RIP Peter

I was reading my Directv's guide description of "For Those Who Think Young", A rich beach bum hangs out in a nightclub with his poor girlfriend and bearded *beatnik* buddy.
Beatnik, there's a generation we don't hear much about today. (I think they are virtually forgotten).
Oh man can we have a beatnik night?

That was so nice of the theatre employee in the layercake photo to find and return the forgetful patrons purse.

-
Hmmm what else can fit inside a *hat box?!*. I wouldn't be concerned about food!

-
About searching though people's handbags, I think this might be a court case in the making, it will probually be challanged very soon.
Bringing food in, there should be a policy of bringing in certain items that can be a hazard like pizza boxes, etc. Its pretty hard to walk in between the narrow passages and I have myself took a nasty slip before. I didn't make an issue of it because I liked the manager and his wife. This is the reason why bottles and pop cans are banned, mostly due to insurance and liability.
Yes theatres should not allow certain foods in and should have a policy notice displayed at the ticket booth or concession stand. They only need to make common sense judgement call, but searching handbags is uncalled for. I doubt a handbag would contain a thanksgiving dinner.
We should take note that the prices are high but this is the only way theatres can keep their doors open. They DO NOT make money at the ticket counter. The staggering bond (upfront cost) they have to put up and the amount film studios wants in percentage leaves nothing to pay the bills.
I never had problems buying at the concession stand but the main reason I don't go to the theatre anymore is the small screen and high ticket prices - its not worth it.
The comment about "won't be able to make out", I hope you are referring to kissing only. I remembered the manager had to throw 2 people out for making love in the balcony.

The snot on the handrail was EEWW though.
About the eye, ever seen "Deep Rising"?

Uhh, I think it *about time* someone took a shot at it. How lame can a movie be? Has anyone in this movie think about using their feet, I mean can't anyone RUN from a snail?

I beleive you came to the same point I try to make in the past that 3D doesn't make a film great or improve a "bad" film.
Hollywood needs to do one simple thing, hire screen writers and producers that has imagination, something that seems to be lost today. Stop rehashing the same ole, same ole stuff.
Yes there are a few films that does need a remake, especially the poorly made ones. One nice example is the remake of "Clash of the Titans" which was in much need of a remake *minus the 3D* due to the laughable special effects of the last one. Love (if thats the right word) the new Medusa. and the Kraken. The last Kraken (80's version) looked like something out one of those 1950's B flick films.
There are people who will think this movie sucks also who's opinion I respect.
