Jerome "Curley" was considered the most handsome in the family, I'm guessing enhanced by his happy-go-lucky demeanor, often possessed by the youngest sibling.

Where did you find that photo, can hardly recognize them without the classic wigs or hairdos especially Larry and Moe (guess that's Moe?).

Here's one, Larry Fine with wife and child.

    1. You know movies are make believe, right?

    2. The movie is rated R, so if any kids are watching it, they have ****** parents.

Maybe you should stick to your Shirley Temple movies.

The last line connects with the first, no kid is THAT good.

(by the way been a couple of decades since I saw a Temple movie)

Well, like I often tell people, I'm really that "old school".  I don't have a "smart phone", my cell phone is still a 10 year old "flip".  I'm not interested in a "smart" phone.  I don't Text, Tweet, Snapchat, instagram, take "selfies"  watch TV, or movies or "surf the web" on anything with a screen the size of a business card.  and...

I prefer to have a conversation ON my phone, not WITH it!  ;)

And I don't think old media should be discarded in favor of  new tech.  Nothing wrong with new technology, but a choice should be available.  I hate that my local newspaper only delivers an actual newspaper 3 days a week and I can only choose to "receive" the rest of the week's "paper" in eEdition for a higher cost that when I got 7 papers a week.  And they have the unmitigated gall to call it "progress".   And that means if we go through another multi day power outage(like a couple of years ago) I have NO way of getting information.

This will determine if the old media stays.  A few days, try a few years.

Of course it doesn't.  And knowing several, it seems they're all in a "It'll never happen to me!" fog of denial.

    And take automatic weapons....

Growing up in the late '50's and early '60's, it was common knowledge that owning a "Tommy gun" or ANY automatic weapon was AGAINST THE LAW.  And sure, NObody owned one.  Not legally of course. But NOW.....

They're as common as baseball caps.

The 1930's was a different era though.

Wonder how did the audience took to her "mowing down" a bunch of kids against the wall imitating the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre? :lol:

Shirley actually said later in life that was her true tomboy personality that was suppressed. :o

Really, not many (if any) of the kids in that movie actually went on to stardom.  And too, I didn't hear all that much cussing, in comparison to how much WE all cussed as kids 20 years earlier.  But only of course, out of adult earshot.

Some cussing kids did went on to stardom

A one liner was a riot without the profanity..

Chris Chambers.... How do you know a Frenchman’s been in your yard?
Your garbage cans are empty and your dog’s pregnant.

I can't find a clip or image, but there's the shot of VICTOR MATURE as Punic war commander HANNIBAL leading a charge as the movie closes and also a clear shot of Vic's wristwatch. And during a period of history almost two thousand years before their invention!  ;)

And that jet airliner in the still from GLADIATOR cracks me up, as I've sometimes noticed contrails in the sky in some westerns.

    Sepiatone

"Hannibal" is on Youtube, I studied the ending and all I see is him wearing an ancient wristband.  Can you find it?

I'll post it as a link.

In The Invisible Man when the title character walks on snow we shoe prints rather than naked foot prints.

    Invisible shoes? :P

Got to thinking, wouldn't a person get hypothermia even while invisible?

Alternate title could had been  "Fear Being Frozen to Death".
