  1. The idea of recording dreams in the film is interesting, wish that was possible. Certainly beats any movie...well mine anyway. Theoretically, Recording Dreams Is Possible...Scientist Are Trying http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/crux/2018/03/21/recording-dreams-scientists/#.XT_KsNQrJgs
  2. Seen it a couple of times, definitely not worth recording. Weird ending, a bugs version of the devil. Better title would had been "Invasion of The Space Grasshoppers".
  3. What ever became of locking threads with the reason why?
  4. Generally some Youtube videos are deleted because of copyright issues, not taking the entire thread with it. There was a movie thread taken down because it had nothing but movies.
  5. Thread not argumentive, it was civil, fun and informative. Hope some killjoy here didn't ask the mods to send it to the thread graveyard.
  6. My cable use to be Charter during the 1990's and Tri Ex the 1980's It's now Suddenlink - use it for local programming, redundancy, and the internet. Do very LITTLE recording nowadays, have what I want, seen just about everything and most new movies stinks. Prices for regular DVD's has bottomed out, purchased the last Star Wars movie for $9.00. Pay-per view is $6.00 maybe this what caused the demise of DVD recorders.
  7. I can see she's a little behind in her reading.
  8. Speaking of annoying, wonder if Frank Burns (M*A*S*H) got on peoples nerves?
  9. May not be exactly interesting since it's from the movie "Dear Bridget" but heck to have Brigitte Bardot arms around Billy Mumy, had to been the luckiest kid alive.
  10. Only Jonathan Harris could make a villain look bumbling, goofy and comical. Too bad the movie version ruined the character.
  11. Ken Curtis fooled a lot of people who didn't know him outside of the Gunsmoke "Festus" role. He was a good actor, clean shaven, smooth talking and a great singer (believe it or not)
  12. This thread made me thought about another one---Misleading titles.
  13. No tender grapes on any vines in "Our Vines Has Tender Grapes" (1945)
  14. How about getting pitchforked in the movies? Bill Robinson giving Jack Haley the point.
  15. Never seen "Fatherland", hope it showed a decimated nearly extinct mankind at the very end because a pandemic killed 99.9% of mankind because the lack of genetic diversity. Bye-bye master race.
  16. "Flight of The Navigator" (1986) Max...
  17. Both Harry Kipper and that blonde dimwit he married in "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" (1937) At least both got "planked" in the rear end.
  18. Sydney Greenstreet was the inspiration for Jabba the Hutt. Will need a bigger pitchfork. Bet woman had the same revolting reaction to both.
  19. Was the cause of death putting head though the wall too many times? One of the best one liners.. RIP
  20. There is something about the impression some people gives, my mom can't stand Michael J. Pollard. Has nothing to do with the movies. Same goes with Mr Lucky's John Vivyan. Go figure? Don't ask me to explain, I can't.
  21. Genearl Hux in the last Star Wars movies. Like to mention Captain Phasma but it would be quite hard to get a pitchfork through that body armor.
  22. Sure is. RIP FREDCDOBBS KID DABB
