There is a story behind where the Brady Bunch lived...that is DIDN'T live! The owners regret having the front of their home used as a back drop and fans who can't tell fantasy from reality descended by the droves. Had to install a hybrid wall / fence.
Before..

after...

Some moron planned to purchased and restore it to the way it was on television. WHAT A DOPE....that was a studio set.

My new Directv Genie selected the best picture format. When I close Native on the TV's picture size setting, the "King of Kings" in 1.85, Full only very slightly changed the height, rest fills the screen.
had to install an HDMI switch.

A bit of humor in an otherwise sad movie.
"Passion of The Christ" (2004)
Talking about the "new" concept of eating on a tall table with tall chairs.
Mary....It will never catch on.

The Kodan armada attack formation in "The Last Starfighter" (1984) looks like the classic Space Invaders video game. Sorry for the dim photo.

The game Alex played in the movie was fiction - PC's or video games at the time couldn't render the graphics or was fast enough for the complex calculations.. What one saw was a simulation done on a Cray XM-P supercomputer.

During the mid 2000's a fan brought it to realization but ironically became a bit obsolete compared to other games on the market.

One managed to win the game, recorded the entire play and posted it.

Lucille Ball along with her husband Desi Arnaz founded Desilu Studio / Productions.

When everyone else turned Gene Roddenberry down in producing Star Trek, she had the idea of what he envisioned.
Wouldn't for Lucy, Star Trek more likely not exist.

Re:WHY DO SOME CLASSIC MOVIE FANS BASH NEWER FILMS?
I don't know, go figure.

Funny how the reverse happened.
I'm not wasting time posting on the "I Just Watched" thread.
