  1. That makes 2 of us, very stunned at his passing. Posters will be mostly listing movies he starred in, like to add he was the voice of Charlie in "All Dogs Go To Heaven" (1989). One of the few times he sang. Hopefully Burt is there. RIP
  2. From wiki In 1999, the British Film Institute voted The Third Man the greatest British film of all time. In 2017 a poll of 150 actors, directors, writers, producers and critics for Time Out magazine saw it ranked the second best British film ever

  4. We use to have a member here long time ago....Snarky.
  5. He sued his parents for squandering his earnings. The "Coogan Law" was created because of it. https://www.thevintagenews.com/2016/10/29/coogan-act-stopped-parents-of-famous-child-actors-seizing-all-the-childs-money/ Newspaper article http://www.rarenewspapers.com/view/625968 The Coogan Law (pdf format) http://www.writing.ucsb.edu/sites/secure.lsit.ucsb.edu.writ.d7/files/sitefiles/publications/2010_Sho.pdf Law had to been recently enforced. Bank of America broke law protecting accounts of child actors, court finds https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/banking/bank-watch-blog/article20011614.html
  6. Some trivia, the original cut of "Smokey of The Bandit" tried to sneak the F word in a couple of times with the PG rating. The censors said NO WAY! I use headphones and can actually HEAR the edits. Background noise is different. This is one edited scene... What the hell you know. The other scene with the state trooper is bleeped out with a truck horn. Didn't do a bit of good if one's a lip reader.
  7. Imagine if Ronald Reagan took Theodore Roosevelt's advice about carrying a big stick. Here's one from the gipper.
  8. Not actors but what the heck. "Larry King - Barely Live" Just remembered, Geraldine Chaplin in "Heidi" (2005) looks a lot like Ruth Ginsberg.
  9. About 40 years of social progress, try doing this back then. "Born This Way" on TLC, getting MARRIED.
  10. That is "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy" , don't know what more a riot. Ike's underwater adventure or the police department's reaction. We need to track this boy down and give him the luckiest boy in America Award right away. Only Trey Parker and Matt Stone can do this and not create a riot.
  11. My favorite mentally challenged characters are from South Park, Nathan and Mimsy.
  12. "The Last Jedi" (2017) talking about the useless stupid helmet (got asthma? ) Snoke....Take that ridiculous thing off.
  13. Lol brought back old memories, my mom use to make that but didn't use scallions.
  14. Another one. "Armageddon" (1998) Karl (amateur astronomer).....I wanna name her Dottie after my wife. She's a vicious life-sucking b_tch from which there is no escape.
  15. "Armageddon" (1998) Dr Ronald Quincy.....You could fire every nuke you've got on her, she'll just smile at you and keep on coming.
  16. Has no influence what so ever, if I like it who cares what they think. Plot of drilling on an asteroid is a bit silly but the characters made up for it.
