Yes. By that time, the UNCLE movies were just for international release. The first three or four were shown in U.S. theaters. The pilot episode was filmed in color but shown on TV in black and white (a B&W print from a color negative, which looks different than something filmed in B&W to begin with). Also, on TV, the footage with the original UNCLE chief, Mr. Allison (Will Kuluva) was reshot with Leo G. Carroll as Mr. Waverly. For "To Trap a Spy," the film is in color and the Kuluva footage is shown.
The movies had either extra footage (Yvonne Craig in "One Spy Too Many") or alternate versions of scenes. One of the movies, "The Helicopter Spies" fixes some bad editing problems with the TV version
For the second movie, The Spy With My Face, the TV episode was again shot in color (though it would be shown in B&W). The extras for the film include Robert Vaughn making out with Sharon Farrell and playing footsie with Senta Berger in the shower.
Starting with the second season of the show, they decided to do two-part episodes that could be more easily tweaked into movies (still with some extras). Also, they began filming in color in the second season.
While the movies were taken from a TV show, most were photographed by Fred Koenekamp, who would later be director of photography on many major films.
Somebody say UNCLE!
