I have just registered here and am browsing through! I thought that it was worth posting this teeny scene that I remember from a black and white movie to see if Mongo can help!!!

 

I see a little blond boy with a toy lamb and all I remember is him saying sadly "come on Lamb" as he walks out of a door. I thought it was Blossoms in the Dust but it wasn't. All I know is that I watched it in the mid 80's and loved it but for some reason that scene is all I remember.

[Five Little Peppers]

I had no idea that these films were made! I am originally from the UK where the books weren't well known but I picked one up here in Canada a few years ago and being the softy that I am I loved it. I was scrolling through the listings and see that the movies are on this afternoon but I didn't know. I have looked through the rest of the month schedule and there are no repeats. Does TCM eventually repeat everything? Or - are they available to purchase? Just the type of movie my Mum and Aunty who are in their 80's would love!

Aghhh, I only came across these books last year - I am originally from the UK and they weren't big over there. I was just browsing through the channels and see there is a short film series of them on right now. I just missed them. Does anyone know if they were ever on video? I would love my Mum and Aunty to see them.
