[Oscar Question on Gone With the Wind]

I read this on another website too. It is interesting to think that Judy Garland would have been in GWTW. I look forward to seeing more on GWTW's 70th anniversary this year.

I saw it last night. I was surprised to see Ona Munson (Belle in GWTW) I had never seen her in anything else. It was a good role for her and I enjoyed the others as well especially Bille Burke who is always funny no matter what role she ever did).

 

Does anyone know know what illness Ona Munson suffered from? On other forums some have asked what caused her to become ill which led to her committing suicide at 51. How sad.

There was extra footage that I think I read was burned many years ago too bad since we'll never see the extra scenes cut of the film but yes what remained has been shown in its entirety.
