[Old Movie about a Teacher through the Generations]

I remember seeing an old movie many years ago and I'd love to see it again somehow. It was about a teacher who teaches at the same school in the same town her entire career - starting with going to school in a horse and buggy and ending with her in an automobile going to school and all the students, past and present, honoring her for her many years of service and what she did for them through the years, sacrificing her own happiness (never got married) for her students. Anyone know this film?
