I bought "Atlantis The Lost Continent" and it's a very nice looking print.
-
"Mr Sardonicus" has one creepy shocking leech scene.
-
LOL- that would have been cool and creepy. No there are not actual leeches involved.
-
Now that is work of art that just happens to be selling a movie.
-
Lucas should just do a new "Star Wars" movie and do it right in 3 - D.
-
He lost it with the ridiculous " The Village" and sank even lower with the preposterous "Lady in the Water".
-
Gets my vote as worse movie of the year a simple minded religious tract trying to pass asa horror movie but it's actually another M Night Shymalan "Twiligh Zone" rip off.
-
I agree one of the best "Monte Cristo" was the Richard Chamberlain made for tv movie- never thought of the story was about a secret conspiracy more about a man getting even because of an injustice- but no you made me want to read the boo.
-
The Laurel and Hardy poster is a visual delight. and "Secret Beyond the Door" looks pretty scary.
-
"The Brotherhood of The Bell" (1970) made for tv production dealing with a secret society more recent " "Demons and Angels" used the Iluminati as part of its plot.
-
Warner Brothers Archive is releasing two of my favorite George Pal productions "Atlantis: The Lost Continent" and " The Power" on DVD.
-
Love this movie more every time I watch it- amazing hoe Rand managed to adapt her long novel- Vidors over he top Freudian imagery is priceless. The book is still very readable not as funny as the campy movie.
-
You can still purchased the DVD from Amazon.
-
Gorgeous poster for a gorgeous movie- Kim Hunter does not look that sexy in the film.
-
Coleen Gray plays the title role in this strictly B Universal shocker with the sexy GloriaTalbot and they both lust after Grant Williams
-
" The Human Centipede" sounds more disgusting than disturbing. My vote for most disturbing film ever is "Audition"
-
Will Whooppie Goldberg have a cameo as a nun?
-
Interesting movie about Sicilians coming to America- some very poetic images but the director is a bit self indulgent in his magic realism moments.
-
The movie I was thinking about must be - "Santiago" (1956) directed by Gordon Douglas with Alan Ladd, Chil Wilis, Loyd Nolan and Rossana Podesta
-
In the story - Dr Jeckyl is a smooth face 50 year old gentleman and Hyde is younger unpleasant dwarflike creature.
-
The excellent make-up in the 1932 version reflects Hyde as a primitive savage man- it's much better than Tracy's ridiculous lack of any make-up- apart from the wig and some bushy eyebrows are the characters in the movie blind that they do not realize the good doctor and his evil alter ego are one and the same?! The 1941 version is inferior except for the photography and those hysterical Freudian transformation sequences .

" Mission Impossible" meets "Dreamscape"
-
March really taps into his inner animal for the demented Hyde.
-
That is a very 60's poster- cool visuals.

There is a difference between gore and bloody- most of the Hammer films have plenty of blood which now looks kind of fake.
