Disney does need Depp for the next Pirate movie which is one of their most profitable franchises.

That making time go backwards by spinning the earth is just convenient plot device.
-
Ken Russell made a mess out of " The Boyfriend" so Parker would have been a better choice but "A Chorus Line" might have seen like a sequel to "Fame" so perhaps he was not interested in another musical at the time.

If you ever want to leave your house there is Flixster app
-
Allan Parker or ever wacky Ken Russell could have made more visually exciting film.
-
The film bombed because they could not find a way of visualizing the play for the screen.

Bond is one of the most successfull franchises in movie history- so Mr Bond will return in one form or another.
-
Carpenter's remake is worth a look if. He got the paranoid atmosphere right and some Rob Botin's make- up effects are amazing.

Love to see a "Doctor Strange" movie.
-
Daniel Craig is a terrific Bond but the last movie was way too dark and depressing.
-
Film editing is probably the single most important step in the movie making process and Dede Allen was a master her craft.
-
The movie is a product of its time I'm sure Donen thought he was daring- there is great photo of the director showing the actors the proper way to be a queen...

If characters in movie acted logically there would be no story-in case of "Strangers on a Train"- Guy is flattered by Bruno's attention.
-
A movie about the creation of the show would really be interesting.
-
It was a case of well known straight actors camping it up with disastrous results. I love to know what Stanley Donen was thinking when he decided to make this project?!
-
William Holden would have been good but I think Granger has better chemistry with Walker which brings out the dark erotic subtext of the story.

She was a talented beautiful woman who left many classic movie moments for all us to treasure.

Too bad that Berkley never had a chance to work his magic in the original 50's 3 - D craze. I'm sure he would have dreamed up some really eye popping moments. There is a lot of suggestive nudity in his 1930's production number.
-
The stage version is a perfect theatrical experience.

"Primer" (2003) directed by Shane Carruth- is a fascinating low budget movie about two young scientist who accidentally develop a time machine with some disturbing side effects. The film is challenging and confusing but worth the effort if you like thought provoking science fiction.

It's too bad they did not make "Follies" in the 70's when many old musical stars were still in decent shape- of course now it would be great to have Liza Minelli belt out "I'm Still Here"
-
Now that is one spectacular poster turning this ancient musical into a very sexy extravaganza.
-
I tried watching it when TCM ran it. The film is very dated in its attitude towards gay people.
-
I was really impressed by the realism of the back ground art- the film was very well designed and the flying scenes were truly exhilarating-. The filmmakers knew how to exploit the 3 -D process

IS HE WORTH 100 MILLION DOLLARS?

Romano does the voice for those "Ice Age" animated movies.
