These are very cool- love the bright color art work- Tom Mix is my favorite one.

"How to Tame Your Dragon" is has excellent 3 - D- and gorgeous animation.
-
"Strangers on a Train" is such a great movie- and it has one of the most exciting climaxes in the entire Hitchcock filmmography.
-
I saw when it was first released and the audience was not happy. I tried watching on AMC last night and was enthralled - I will have to check it out again on blu-ray or dvd. I did see Kubrick's original longer cut.

Great poster for a great movie.

Do they give Oscars for extreme effeminate behavior?

I have never seen Hitchcock's " The Farmers Wife" but anything by Hitchcock is worth at least one viewing. "Frenzy" is his final great thriller- yes it's more explicit than his earlier films but that's Hitch keeping up with the more permissive sensors. The scene with the Inspector trying the new dishes is very funny- the other classic bits- the slow pull back from the killers flat and the struggle in the potato truck.

What would an Alien prequel be about?

"Horror Express" is a cool movie in more ways then one- love to see a real good print.

I love those sexy lesbian vampires from Hammer.
-
Love the show and loved here character.

And they are all from the brilliant mind of William Castle.

'Avatar" should be experienced in 3 -D and you might still be able to catch it that way before the dvd/blu- ray comes out.

Spoken like a true film fan!

Gemma Arterton was very good as Io. She is also in the " Prince of Persia".

3 - D can be the ultimate special effect in the hands of the right director like James Cameron. In the case of "Clash of the Titans" the studio wanted to cash in on the 3 - D crazed and ended up with a crappy looking movie.
-
"Birdemic: Shock and Terror" (2010) maybe the funniest unintentional comedy of the year- bad acting, senseless script, and terrible special effects.
-
A mix of high camp ( why are the Olympian gods dressed in silver armor?!) and some effective special effects action scenes ( the giant scorpions are very cool) Sam Worthington looks and acts more like a modern day marine than a Greek hero. The post-production 3 - D effects are awful.. Harryhausen's Medusa was better and the Kraken looks like a left over from some Godzilla epic.

Stylish, classy could be a Vanity Fair cover.
-
The post production 3-D process in "Clash of the Titans" is awful.
-
I was re-watching " The Ten Commandments" and it has some priceless bad dialogue.
-
The problem with those Amicus films is that they were often boring- Burroughs is anything but boring.
-
David Cronenber's "Videodrome" (1983) just change the cable channel to the internet and it still is shockingly ahead of it's time.

I really miss the great magazine there is nothing like it now doing in depth reporting on new and classic science- fiction, fantasy and horror cinema. The late Frederic S Clarke really gave genre films the respect they rarely get.

Anyone excited about Farley Granger night?
