I think is will have an affect of an actor who is trying to have a career as romantic leading man.

"Caddyshack" is a very funny movie- its not like EVERYTHING TCM shows is a perfect. ( well maybe Robert Osborne...)

There is a new candidate for this title "Birdemic : Shock and Terror" (2010) a cheesy remake of "The Birds" featuring some of the worst effects since that other film turkey " The Giant Claw"

"Casblanca" is a well crafted studio movie. "Citizen Kane" is a cinematic landmark.

The book by Craig Lucas told the the same story in a much more stylized fashion. Addam Guetell won the Tony for best score and so did Victoria Clark as the mother. PBS recorded it for Great Performances.

Gerard Buttler might be doing a TV series soon if he keeps making these crappy films.

Gable in "Red Dust" was walking sex. He might have become a bit more stylized later but in those early raw performances the sex appeal is unmistakable.

I disagree the point of the movie is not about money- yes having money helps- but it's really about what you can do to help your fellow man. There are lots of greedy people with money who do nothing with it except buy useless junk.

"Clash of the Titans" remake was not shot in 3 -D. And yeah these increase ticket prices are insane- I did see "Avatar" in IMAX - 3-D and ended up with a headache. The problem is that if you want to see the movie on a really BIG SCREEN you might have to pay the extra bucks or just wait for the DVD.

Let's face it unless you are Meryl Streep most older actors do not get star roles in youth obssessed Hollywood.

I've been a Harryhausen fan forever and even tried my hand at some stop motion filmmaking- which takes a great deal of patient. I did see the MoMa tribute and it was amazing to see how large and detail some of those models are in real life. And no they are not made clay but beautifully crafted with metal skeletons and foam rubber muscles and skin.
