  1. MIDNIGHT with Claudette Colbert and Don Ameche has John Barrymore in a "Supporting Role" but he steals so many scenes that I remember him more than Don Amerche. And I love the film. Also TOPAZE shows John Barrymore in a more restrained by still excellent performance. JTB
  2. If you are looking for MORE THAN A MIRACLE, it is showing on April 10 on TCM. JB
  3. It sounds an awful lot like the BEST OF EVERYTHING with Joan Crawford, Martha Hyer Hope Lange and Diane Baker. I belive the Suzy Parker plays the woman who ends her life in tragedy.
  4. The SPEED Channel (DirecTV has it) is showing the pilot of Then Came Bronson tomorrow (Sunday February 5) at 9:00 PM and then again on Monday morning at 2:00 AM. It has commericials but it seems to be uncut. Cahuengawriter
  5. It sounds a lot like Mr. Buddwig starring James Garner. Here is the synopsis from IMDB. A well-dressed man wakes up on a bench in New York's Central Park, with no idea of who he is, or how he got there. All he can find in his pockets are a train schedule, a couple of drug capsules, and a piece of paper with a phone number on it. On his right hand: a ring with a cracked stone; engraved on the inside of the band is the inscription, "From G.V." Armed with these meager clues, the man, adopting the name "Buddwing" (inspired by a passing Budweiser beer truck and a plane flying overhead), sets out to learn his true identity. Along the way, he encounters three different women, each of whom reminds him in some way of someone named "Grace."
