I liked the film. I thought it was strange how it went form a comedy right into drama. Marlene Dietrich & Fred MacMurray did have on-screen chemistry. Not a great film, but it's a nice viewing. However, I wll admit the ending did tug at my heart strings.

There is a rumor that Marilyn Monroe was the model for Tinker Bell in Disney's _'Peter Pan'_.

*Joan Crawford was responsible for Disney's It's a Small World ride.* When Joan was on the board of directors of Pepsi, there was a World's Fair. Joan asked her friend Walt Disney to have the Disneyland folks design a ride for it that Pepsi would sponsor. She wanted it to stress a global theme (since she was taking Pepsi to the world) and since she loved children, asked that it be about children. Disney came up with the "It's a Small World" ride for her. When it was presented to the rest of the board they came up with all sorts of reasons not to do that. Joan wanted it, so basically twisted all their arms to do it. The ride was so successful at the World's Fair that Disney decided to then install it in Disneyland.
