  1. As topic says. I DVR'd this title on March 27th. I just had the opportunity to view it. I was disappointed and chagrined with what I saw. It was shown letterboxed (i.e., the top and bottom of the picture was chopped off so that the original full frame 4:3 aspect ratio became something like 16:9). Why?? I have a recording of this title I made back in 2008 and it was shown properly then (i.e., full frame 4:3 aspect ratio) I hope the DVD-R of this title that's sold by Warner Archive hasn't been messed with like this.
  2. No, I didn't see these listed in the daily schedule. It didn't occur to me to look in the weekly schedule. I don't understand why their various schedule types don't necessarily track with each other.
  3. Two more unlisted shorts (Eastern Time): {font:Arial} 1/8 7:41a - Glimpses of Florida (1941) C-9m 1/8 11:34a - Challenge of Champions (1966) C-13m {font}
  4. Thanks for the interest. I'm happy to report that the Schedules are displaying correctly this morning. To answer your request, my Operating System is Windows XP Home Edition Version 5.1 SP3 and the two Browsers I use are the AOL browser that comes with their Version 9.0 operating system and Windows Explorer Version 8.0.6001.18702IS. Very odd that this problem occurred -- I hope it stays away.
  5. I don't know if this is the correct forum to post this or if it has been discussed elsewhere. The Schedules (i.e., daily, weekly, etc.) display except that the times in the left-most column do not appear. Also, when I try to Expand a title the whole Schedule page refreshes including when I click on the New "Expand All" tab -- i.e., I can't display details about any title. Is this just happening to me?
  6. Subject photo is a great photo. Is it available from somewhere (i.e., a clean, uncluttered version of it unlike the Now Playing cover photo)?
  7. Last night I started a thread about only being able to see the one day's schedule. I see today that the thread is locked (to prohibit replies) as are a couple other threads. Why? What's going on?
  8. As subject says. I've been trying tonight to view tomorrow's (March 15th) schedule and other days this week. All that comes back is today's schedule. Is this problem just mine? I'm singing to the choir, I know, but this new schedule set up is horrible -- and now it's not working (at least for me).
  9. Following "David Copperfield" this morning they showed Pete Smith's "Crew Racing" (1935). I think it was "Crew Racing" as I stumbled into when it was halfway through. I am sure that I have seen this short before -- I might even have recorded it -- but I don't remember when it was last shown. Does anyone know (by date) when this short has been shown before? If so, many thanks for sharing this.
  10. Another one of the subject shorts was shown tonight (before the start of Union Pacific). I stumbled into it with about five minutes of it left -- it was unlisted in the schedule. TCM has shown several more of these mystery shorts the same way -- unlisted in the schedule. Why aren?t they listed? I?ve now missed at least two of them because of this. I hope they?ll start listing them and, especially, repeat them -- soon.
  11. It's not being shown for this marathon either. I checked back issues of Now Playing and see that the last time it was shown was June 30, 2004. It's odd that there would be Torchy Blane marathons and leave out one of its titles. As the original post asks: does TCM no longer have, or have rights to, this title?
