  1. How about "Watch on the Rhine"? I can watch that over and over again. Paul Lukas received best actor award. Would have to put "Dark Victory" next, then tie for third, "Jezebel" and "The Letter".
  2. Each year I show "Vigil in the Night" to nursing students. Carole in her only dramatic role and she is tremendous. This film also fabulous for teaching ethics to students.
  3. My favorite "I Love Lucy" is the one set in LA where she dances with Van Johnson. Also, liked Lucy and Van in "Yours, Mine and Ours". Loved Van in all his movies, but my favorite is "The Human Comedy" where he plays the eldest son who is in WWII. Message was edited by: lidash Message was edited by: lidash
  4. I would love to hear Angela Lansbury as she is still vibrant and articulate and has lived much of Hollywood history.
  5. Thought he was particularly fabulous with Bette in Dark Victory, In This Our Life. Tomorrow is Forever--with Colbert and much better in that than over the top Orson Welles.
  6. Dianne Wiest was in Birdcage with: *Hank Azaria*
  7. Peter Lawford was in Little Women with: *Margaret O'Brien*
  8. Top Hitch picks: Foreign Correspondent The Lady Vanishes Shadow of a Doubt Rear Window Saboteur
  9. I would have to add to the original list: Foreign Correspondent Saboteur Shadow of a Doubt
