  7. WELCOME, TeeCee13! I haven't seen the first episode, but I DVRd it and hope to take time to watch it soon. So many new tv.shows, so little time. I hope you enjoy the message boards. There are lots of knowledgable posters as well as a few funny "punsters". BTW, my son collects vinyl and has quite a extensive collection. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Bg
  8. ILRM....He also produced "The Andy Griffith Show", "The Danny Thomas Show", & "I Spy". All very popular series. I also remember his portrayal of Nick the bartender in "It's A Wonderful Life". Are you a fan of the new sit-com "The Big Bang Theory"? According to Wiki, the program is giving a "hats off" to S.L. The two leading characters names are Sheldon and Leonard. Pretty cool. By the way, the series, in my opinion, is hilarious.
  9. Tony Franciosa in "A Face in the Crowd" with: LEE REMICK

  13. Tikisoo...I have also noticed that in older movies when the actors are in a scene, a nightclub for example, the music is playing, but when the actors start talking, the music is muted. Unlike today's movies, when we sometimes have to strain to hear the dialogue, because the sound is consistant. It is more realistic, just like lighting, in films today, which I suppose that is what they are going for. I think Sheldon Leonard is terrific. Who would have thought he would become a big time producer in television. "The Dick Van Dyke Show", for instance Message was edited by: Bargar
  14. Lloyd Bridges in "High Noon" with: KATY JURADO
  15. (LOL - "Stalag 17") spindle - "Norma Rae" nw: - KNITTING
  16. Thanks so much! My sense of humor is a little on the wry side as well. I guess all this talk about voyeurism made me a little paranoid. I like your comments and don't lose that wicked sense of humor. Bg
  17. whistling......I am a big fan of the Thin Man series. I also have watched "The Mad Miss Manton" more than once. Two films you might want to try are: "Star of Midnight" with Wm.Powell & Ginger Rogers(1935) and "A Night to Remember"(1945) with Brian Aherne & Loretta Young. There is a movie about the sinking of the Titantic with the same title, so beware.
  18. Mongo....I really love the picture of Jessica Tandy & Hume Cronyn! I finally caught up with all your candids today. Great job, as usual . Bargar
