More MUST LISTEN: Sen. Dianne Feinstein in a 1994 interview urging that we must secure our borders because illegal aliens compete for housing and classroom space. Do these problems no longer exist, Senator? https://twitter.com/FAIRImmigration/status/930480553664679943

  10. I post what I know. You don't have a clue. Post and cut out the talk. Step up. One of my wishes is to go to Canada and do some Trout fishing before I'm done. And I've caught Largemouth Bass over 10 pounds. Jake in the Heartland

  16. Hello Wendy, Good to hear from ya. I knew you were around and would get here at your leisure so it's no big deal but good to have ya drop in on the old place. Are you a school teacher? If so, what a wonderful endeavor to help children learn. I still remember my grade school teachers. I've not yet listened to your Bee Gees picks but I know they are good and I will listen to them, soon. It's a shame about Robin Gibbs. He was a young man for this day and age. The Bee Gees were part of a very interesting time in America and their record sales are awesome. Now, it's your turn to give your top 10 fab four picks. But do so only if you desire and of course at your own pace. If not, that's ok, too. My top ten could change daily because the Beatles have so many great songs and when I went over my picks, I realized I did not pick one from Rubber Soul -- an album I truly love. Anyway, hope all is well with you and your family and I wish you all the best. Jake
  17. *This might seem like a dumb thing to be grieving about but our complex mascot "Senor Rooster", a Americana Leghorn with about a dozen different colored feathers, got done in by a some possums this morning. Just watching him strut around in the sun made you feel good.* Star, I feel your pain. Road kills with possums is common down South. Never cared for them. Usually, they will go after the eggs and chicks. It's the fox who is the usual culprit who is capable of wiping out a Rooster. But I've heard stories of possums on occasions, too. And don't forget the Raccoon. Sorry for the loss. Jake in the Heartland
