It sure is a sad day Wendy. A great musical legend is gone. What an impact he had on Blue Grass and other country music. I got to listen to him a little today on classic country. It was a tribute to him. He was a gentleman. How you been girl? It's been awhile and I don't spend near as much time here now as I did in the past. I'll pick it up though. Read your post on BQ sauce and you use some of the things I do. I love Southern pulled pork sandwiches. Coleslaw, baked beans or potato salad with it is so good with sweet Southern ice tea. Star, is spot on Will. I own the 5 quart Rival model. One other thing, since you are new to crock pot cooking, the fat content in the meat is important. On some meat, you might want to brown it before you put it in the crock pot. You can make vegetable soup, beef stew and many other tasty meals and, as time goes on, you will experiment and come up with what works best for you. I might, in time, divulge a family recipe for the BBQ sauce that you put in the crock pot and let it simmer with the meat for a couple of hours. Delicious. That pulled crock pot recipe I gave you does work and is good. The key is the BBQ sauce you use to put on the pork in the bun. I use a local BBQ restaurant's home-made sauce. Very good. Jake
