*Knock it off! Keep it up and somebody is gonna get hurt.* Not mine. God I love my mama. Dad was on the road makin' a livin' for us and she told me: Never let anyone run over you. Best advice I've ever gotten. Jake in the Heartland

What would you, really, possibly, know anything about a woman?

*I thank you for the recommendation.* You're welcome. You will read writings from John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington (My Favorite), James Madison and other right-wing radicals. You will have world class professors give you lectures on the Constitution. By the way, the Question and Answer part is essential. Have a great evening. Jake in the Heartland

*I have been studying American history since I came here.* Google Hillsdale College for the free 10 week course on the Constitution. You can take it at your own pace with readings and videos. Again, it's free and very good. Jake in the Heartland Edited by: JakeHolman on Mar 8, 2012 8:43 PM

YOU are guest programmer which 4 films would you pick

I knew you could do it Star. A few things I could add but why? Let your post stand. Good stuff. By the way, Robert Penn Warren was a Southern Agrarian who wrote many thoughtful things about the South that dispels the stereotype given to the Southerner. I recommend: I'll Take My Stand: The South and the Agrarian Tradition. Jake -

{font:Calibri}*That’s going to take a while as I want to get it right but I’m working on it..* Take your time, Star, but you're ready. Life is too short and this is the internet. Let her rip. One day at a time and thank God for every one. Seriously, those two flicks I agree with you on have many, many twists and angles. Jake {font} -

{color:black}*2) Gunfight at the OK Corral* {color:black}*3) All the King's Men* Hey, Star, you don't have to prove you're original. Some of the oldies but goodies still are open to interpretation and how it affects you the viewer. I have seen the movie The Searchers more times than I care to count and it still throws curve balls at me striking me out. There are still many things to learn. I like those picks and they are great movies and I'd love hear your thoughts on 'em. Jake Edited by: JakeHolman on Mar 1, 2012 10:33 PM -
I'm doin' OK. Good to hear that about ya and I'll forgive ya for livin' up there with those Yankees. B-)

*This one was a real shock.* Wendy, you ain't kiddin'. I'm really surprised and of course sad about it. I grew up with Davy and The Monkees. They left an indelible impression on me. My girlfriend loved Davy. I'll never forget 'em. Hope all is going well for you and have a great evening and weekend. Jake
