Why Thank you sir. I had the honor and good luck to attend the U.S. Coast Guard's Radioman school at Governor's Island New York for six months. The Navy had the money and technology but their radiomen could not hold a candle to Coasties using the Code. I did intercept an SOS call late one night while on watch guarding the international and caling frequency on 500KHZ band. I still, to this day, know the Morse code and the Coast Guard told me that is the only thing I did very well on in its battery of tests for future service in the Guard. Have a great evening...

She's from Thomasville, Ga. Many might think dogchit USA. Not so, a great small town. One of the best kept secrets in the country. I know, I am for real from Georgia, who has been there. Newman liked her and so do I... http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/joanne-woodward-picture-16515021.htm

*I personally know people who refuse to watch Sean Penn movies for the exact same reasons you point out regarding Charlton Heston.* I watched Penn in All the King's Men and found it not up to snuff. The original 1949 edition was better. Broderick Crawford was much better as Huey Long. Mystic River I found to be a good movie. Jake in the Heartland

*Michael Medved = Idiot - Well, that's because he is.* I don't know about that Jonas. He has a very impressive resume. I wounder what your resume might look like? He also does not call people idiots because they do not hold the same beliefs as he does. He's a much better critical thinker than that. I'd like to see TCM invite him on their show so he could impart some of his film knowledge to the viewers. Jake in the Heartand Edited by: JakeHolman on Nov 8, 2011 6:47 PM
