If you are a collectivist or socialist, of course this movie is a farce. The essence of the movie is the individual living in a society of collectivist who are really mediocre and can't seem to understand their well-being is dependent on great feats by great men like Howard Roark. Ayn Rand was no true feminist. She acknowledged the prowess of the male and his role as a dominant partner in a relationship. This upset the feminist and egalitarians. I am fully aware of Ayn Rand's personal life and her atheist beliefs and I do not endorse either but her portrayal of a society of sheep I think is right on...
