Ever since GE lost its coveted triple AAA credit rating, down to double AA, it has been looking for ways to shore up its balance sheet to overcome its huge losses in its GE capital division.
This is just a sign of what is to come in 2010 as more jobs and cost cutting will take place throughout the economy.
GE is paying and is now trying to rectify the excesses of speculation in a once conservative and well run company.
Cash is king..
