>I love Eric Burdon! Thanks Jake.
Hi JF,
You are welcome.
The Animals, imho, are under-appreciated for their musical works. They were in the shadows of the Beatles and Stones. But their music was very good. I always liked them.
Actually, the first group of Animals who worked with Eric Burdon were the guys who went into the R&R Hall of Fame with him not the guys in the clip I chose.
Eric Burdon has a very distinctive voice I will always remember.
Have a great weekend...

>ANDY WILLIAMS???? In Jake's thread?
>Now I've seen everything.
HI JF,
I first heard Andy Williams as a little fella. My mother was a stay-at-home mom who played a lot of his records and, of course, I heard 'em.
Mr Williams was a very big star in the sixties and seventies, too--very big.
No, I am not his biggest fan nor do I pretend to know his music like other performers but don't think I don't appreciate some of the finer things in life, even though I don't always understand them.
With that in mind...another one I've been holding for a while...Fred Astaire....

>I had nothing to do with this. This is Jake's ever-eclectic list of favorites. He surprises me all the time. He has that gift.
CBL, feel free to continue your posting because I am sure there are many who enjoy your taste in music.
But, please, yes please, don't respond to every post I make...I can be very easy to get along with...
