>How come nobody EVER plays these guys on the radio anymore?
Well, JF every now and then, you can hear 'em down here in Texas on the classic channels and some of the down and dirty bars, too...

>I know what you're thinking, punk. You're thinking "did he fire six shots or only five?" Now to tell you the truth I forgot myself in all this excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and will blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

It is interesting to note Lynn and Chip live on the west and east coasts, respectively.
I once lived in L.A. and have visited New York several times. Both cities can be fascinating and exhilarating places to visit but, for me, not to live. I am a Southerner who likes nature and the outdoors and a slower pace of life.
In Texas, we believe it is perfectly normal to carry a pistol when traveling in an automobile because cities like Houston and Dallas *can be* very dangerous just like L.A. and New York. The wrong turn could put one in a very dangerous situation and knowing how to be ready to aim and fire a pistol in the event it is needed for protection is part of the South's culture.
Both of you are nice and intelligent people but I think, respectfully, you might be a little naive about the nature of a criminal and his intent.
*" A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that."*
