"Anyone else like Bing Crosby?"
Yes, I do and I posted on another thread created by Ms Goddess a very good and complimentary clip about Bing.
This is a R&R and country thread. Suggest you go to that thread and enjoy...

Elia Kazan was a *hero* to come forward and expose the totalitarian communist party and its members who only desired to overthrow a freely elected government and in its place throw this country's freedoms and artistic rights under the mantle of the communist state.
*Three Cheers to Kazan!*

>Hey, Jake! I was wondering where you were.....
HI JF,
Been right here on this thread. I started this thread because I really like R&R and some country music. On the other thread many of the posters have other tastes and that's ok by me but I moved on so I would not be a nuisance.
Please feel free to post here anytime you like and do your thing.
I think you once said you liked Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. So do I...
An old clip of 'em.

I went through my mail today and received The Hanging Tree video I ordered through these folks who were on the amazon site...
http://stores.filmnoirvideo.com/StoreFront.bok
I put the video in and I am satisfied: it is OK...I won't say it is as good as something from WB but, again, it is OK...
I paid a total of about twenty dollars for it and they did rip me off for the shipping charge of 4.95 but for twenty bucks, I thought it would be worth the risks and I have given up on getting the dvd from WB.
I will be watching it shortly...
Thought some might like to know about this...

There are many conservatives who love John Wayne for his conservative ideas and anti-communist beliefs...
