Hey every1. i come here to share my love and thoughts some good some bad with every1..i DONT like getting upset and belittled over something i had NOTHING to do with first off and second off..i come here to enjoy the chat with other ppl who have tha same passion ONLY for movies actors ect...not to argue to belittle to hurt ppl..and it really upsets me that this has all happened....i dont like calling ppl stupid or names its just unfair that certain ppl can not just be ADULTS like most of us are they seem to use this forum like a battleground instaed....i want to opologise to all of u that are adults and come here like me to share in this wonderful forum that allows us to let our feelings out without being judged anyway again i do oplogize thanks god for the ignore button,...lol....it does show me though who the adults are and who arent ty all.. Hey ILoveRay, i just wanted to praise u for doing this thread..sooo many time we speak srticly about the actors actresses..ect..when soooooooo much of there performance has to do with the director... its funny cause i was just thinking that to myself..u know who was the director on that movie??? so important.. i have a few..but i think back in the day..lol..those days that we all croon over here on TCM....i would have to say my faaaav would have to be Joseph Mankiewicz...he did sooooooo many great movies...Alot of the movies that ppl make threads about i bet alotta ppl dont even know he was the director on them..he was a pioneer.. and of course he directed My Ava (gardner) in one of my faaavs...The Barefoot Contessa..but there was sooooo many more he did.. anyway ty for the thread....its a good one!! Hey All, of all the actors we all talk about i dont see William Holdens name to much....well i havent at all scinse ive been on....soo im going to...lol... What can u say about gorgoues...SEXY....funny..charming Mr.Holden... Another actor i can truly say io looved him in just about everything he did..i prefer his beginning career to the later...but just loved him..one of my mothers all time favorite storys is one of Mr.Holden.. If i remember correctly she and some gfs were on the 20th century fox lot (my mother use to work for a agent back then who handled..many celebs) Jule Styne...anyway they couldnt find there car..they forgot where they parked it and here comes Mr.Holden pulls up besides them and asked them if they needed any help..my mom told them they cant find there car and he said hop in and i will help u look!!!! Well, she said she nearly fell over..just the NICEST guy...so thats a cute story she has.. Personally i would have looooooooved to have jumped in his car....lol... Hi Molo, thanks sooo much for all that great info on Norma...yes i have seen that bio with janet Leigh..great stuff...and yes Marie Antionette oh my gosh..u got the word right...lol..heartwrenching stuff....ty as well for the name of her bio book..i would looove to read that..very sad to hear both her children have passed..that is sad..but she will forever live on in Cinema as truly a great actress..notice i didnt say star....big diffrrence!! She was an actress first....Janet Leigh had nothing but GOOD things to say about her..as a matter a fact i havent heard any bad things yet said about her..just a lovley lady and it showed on screen.. ty so much again for all that wonderful info..
