Totally disagree with you..NOT because its an all black cast...The movie was GREAT!..Marlon Brando amazing in it and Frank of course great....and as far as on stage its a whole diffrent ball game i dont think u can compare ANY movie to a broadway show..its two totally diffrent venues...but to say an all black cast is best..well....i mean it was NOT written for an all black cast meaning u are changing the writers characters...which in my opinion is ok .for something diffrent but it certainly will never be BETTER....unless i guess u ARE black...not trying to be racist just being real.... Hi all responding to the Hollywood has no stars left..i muist disagree...true there are VERY FEW..like a handful but there there...like Scarlett, Charlize, Angelina, Merryl..(even thoough shes not of the generation now) men...very hard to pick..there there are verrrrry few..i think...todays generation..anyway in a way i agree but as long as movies are being made and ppl appreciate the art of filmaking and all that that entails there will be Hollywood Movie Stars.....thank god.. ty Ava

hey all... ok this is where i dont see it...some movies u just LEAVE alone..this is one of them...maybe on stage..but not a movie..in my opinion NOONE could ever play those charctors like Newman and Taylor..NO WAY...a classic for sure..my opinion...and i might as well go out on the limb more now scince im already there..lol..the TV version of a raisin in the sun..in my opinion stunk..Pdiddy was terrible i thought and the realationship between he and his mother unbeliveable..mainly because Pdiddy can NOT act...i mean nice try but stick to your day job for sure,,,im not comparing him to Sidney..lol...he wishes..just him alone..terrible..acting is something u CANT learn u either can or u cant..my opinion.. ty Ava

A Star Is Born...with Barbra and Kris was GREAT!! When it came out it was one of the highest grossing pics then....i thought it was done very well for the time then and Kris was great..he had a vulnerability to him...mostly because he really did have a drinking problem and it was just so real...as far as Elvis..maybe...i mean to Believe his character how self destructive he was i just dont see Elvis carrying that part....i thought Kris was just great...and as far as an all black version well why not the movies been done a couple times now Ava

Soooooooooooo pretty, GREAT actress and what a TRAGIC end .I loved her in EVERY single movie i saw her in...u cant say that for many actors..there wasnt one thing she did i didnt like... .i loooved her in "Love with the proper Stranger"..omg..she was great...and "Splendor in the grass" and of course my faaaaav...Daisy Clover!!! and who could forget Gypsy Rose Lee...i mean my god it goes on and on and on...truly missed! again ty MissGodess for the beautiful tribute and pics of her Ava
