    ABSOLUTLY! Thats the pic i was going to say is one of my faaavs of Cagney..as well as a great dramatic part for Doris Day...Love me or leave me..as well for me is him in Yankee Doodle Dandy..the scene where his father is dieing and hes by his bed..great stuff!

    Hi All

     

    just wanted to comment ...those 30s and 40s movies..i think what i loved about them most was the dialogue..the quick Wit...no matter what the time was then..what was taboo or not..those women then had fire!..lol..they said what they felt they had great style as well....the head actress in it..unfortunatly i dont know her name she had great delivery! Anyway wanted to say my thoughts..

    forgive me u did spell it right..Henreid..but u spelled spell...slell..lol..my point is everyone makes goofs!

    as i said i dont mind being called on a name of an actor(which is rare) but as the other eamils showed...someone told me to do a spellcheck please...so stop with the emails ok..AGAIN this is a chat room not a SCHOOL room..

    tyvm...well my good thoughts are there..how come noone commented on my thoughts only on my spelling...shesssh i feel like im in school..i keep getting private emails,.lol..on my spelling..u all are reading the rest of my threads right..lol..

     

    but scsu..i do appreciate the correction on the NAME..but anything else..im not in school..please stop emailing me ppl on my spelling this is ony a chat room..sheeesh! ty again scsu..

    Hi Jake...

     

    nice to hear from another animal lover...its never to a fault :-) to be that!

     

    i will always be speaking out for there rights!! I have 2 beautiful boy kittys that have helped me get through the loss of my babygirl stormy..who i had for 15 years,she died almost a year ago now of cancer...I can say without a dought they helped me get through that..as all animals have that spiritual healing gift..

    OMG those pics of Burt and Ava are awseome!! The Killers Avas first or second movie no the first was with Clark Gable....Loooved Burt Lancaster..Absolutly,,bar none maybe the best actor..hands down..he was great! Couldnt even say which movie i loved him in the best..i think every performance is great..

    I was watching Now Voyager last night..bette davis amazing...but it reminded me of how good Paul Henreid was...i dont think he got enuff recognition as an actor..he had a sensitivity to him and a very strong scense of himself...and of course who couldnt forget his performance in Casablanca...again showing his warmth and strength!!

    Hi Mark,,

     

    i loooove Claudette Corbert..a great actress! My personal fav movie or on of em..lol...of course had to be "It Happened On e Night" Her and Clark Cable..FANTASTIC! Looved them great movie!!

    Glad to know there are other fans as well who appreciate this fine actress
