Robboy, I wanted to comment on Ritas danceing that u had mentioned, yes Rita was a beautiful dancer, here is a little backround for ya on the beauty........Rita actually started danceing with her family...Her whole family were in a troupe and they use to travel and dance all over the country...that is how Rita started actually in show biz...lol...and then she broke off with that and danced in some choruses on her own and the rest as they say is history!! And oooooooh what a history...i just love her.....whats not to love....heehee ty again Robboy AvaG :-)

Hi ya Robboy, ty for asking Robboy!! First off i ADORE Rita as a matter a fact in the most beautiful woman poll that ILoveRay did..Rita is number 3 in my top 3!! I thought she was just stunning!! As ive mentioned so many times before to me its MORE then just beauty on the outside..there MUST be something on the inside, as i said i like to think its in the eyes...and to me Rita just ooozed sentuality, sexuality, and i would like to say instead of the word sadness, vulnerability. With Rita her life was alot like my Avas...oops..thats Ava Gardner robboy...lol..we havent met yet..shes my number 1 on the list..heehee....as i was saying..there lives entwined alot..in the end..sadly they both took to drink and had MANY bad relationships as far as men...these were two women always searching for that one thing we all want....love...... ironiclly it seems to be always the BEAUTIFUL ones..the VERY beautiful ones who do have these kinds of very lows and very highs in there lives......that is just the price i guess for being SO beautiful...silly it sounds but its TRUE...also as i say, is it what it is..... In case u are wondering my second most beautiful is Vivain Leigh....and ironiclly again saaaame story...except thatViv poor thing basiclly lost her MIND in the end and could not be controlled...but no matter what these 3 ladies in my view were the tops of beauty, sexiness, sensuality, vulnerability, to me they had the WHOLE package!! btw...i own GILDA ..and must watch it at least once every couple weeks....heehee! ty so much for asking me Robboy!! Chitown, Sadly i totally agree but its not just the spots that have changed latley, its as well the programming..BIG time has changed.......the movies are really lacking..in the actors the movies themselves ive been saying it for weeks now..so it would make sense that the spots are diffrent as well, that just goes to show that they have changed programmers period,..whomever is programming whatever is shown on TCM needs to be removed in my opinion....ive been saying it for weeks and it just doesnt get better..sad..i havent watched a movie on TCM in over a week...soooooo..anyway hopefully it will get better...As far as Frank there showing that one alot because its about to start..and that will be the best clan of movies ttte Dhey have shown scinse Bette Davis.... Hey All, all this talk on beautiful women......NOT one person (well except for me) heehee..has mentioned the GORGOUES..SEXY..CRAZY SEXY...lol....Ms.Virginia Mayo..... Ms.Mayo is best know for her musicals to be more exact her many movies she did with the incomprable..Danny Kaye...she was always the girl Danny wanted to get...she was also the BEAUTY that Bob Hope wanted in the very entertaining Casanova...... just to mention a few for those of u who can not put the face to the name....... She also was a pretty good actress not great ..but NEVER boring!!! Sheeeeeesh u could look at her ALL DAY AND NIGHT....lol....what a beauty...when she spoke and looked at u with those eyes (cat eyes again just like viv)....but again it wasnt JUST beauty with any of the actresses i have mentioned except..Hedy Lamar..she was beauty until she spoke and then it all went out the window at least for me.. BTW... i happen to know in private there are more ppl agreeing with me about Hedy then not....just some ppl dont want the confrontation and i dont blame them....ME i could care less thats there problem..i will ALWAYS speak my mind! Hey Theresa, i just wanted to put my 2 cents in here.....lol...i totally love Pride and Prejudice! First off i read the book and loved it...then i looved the version with Greer and Olivier..and YES a TRUE romance if ive ever seen one and i am a true romantic at heart!....lol.....i also saw the version with peirce Bronson and thought is stunk...of course i am not a fan of his anyway, the only other version i saw of Pride was the most recent with the AMAZINGLY beautiful Keira Knightly! And i must say that had to be MY personal fav of it...no dought.....but Greers version was mighty close..well i guess i loved it the same ..its just they were made in such diffrent eras...well 1940 to 2007...BIG diffrence.. i thought the movies was sooooooo well done.and i am a VERY big fan i must admit of Keira Knightly.. First off she is JUST GORGOUES....plus she can act to!!! !!!! A good thing to have both.....lol..... and i must add a very RARE thing today for sure!!! Frank, Cool i picked the right one....heehee........yuppers good acting from the man they called ..the man with the golden voice! as far as the lessons u need to learn.....ayntime hun! I aim to please....lol...no seriously when it comes to Frank i happen to know quite alot of little tid bits....as i mentioned before my dad and he were freinds way baaack in the day....so my dad had some great stories about Frank....he only had the best things to say about him though...with all the mobster talk that surrounded Frank.....he did have his involvement with the underground....all in all he was a VERY generous, beyond a fault...very funny, quick witted man ....and loyal to his freinds and family till the end...including the love of his life Ava..:-) Anyhoot im here if u need anything else....lol.. Hi ya Frank! yes i do agree alot of ppl did not consider him a great actor or maybe even a good actor..but u know what i say... so what...i mean hes FRANK SINATRA!......lol.....my point is that was not his cup of tea....i think he prooved he could do it...which i know he wanted to do..and as i said he prooved it by winning the award...which btw if it wasnt for AVA...heehee...he never would have even gotten the role if it wasnt for her..She made the call to the director and she begged to please give Frank the role role, being Ava Gardner well she did have mega clout.....lol....he obliged Ava and Frank not only got the roll but he kiiled it...and won the award...cool story huh? Love conquers all....heehee BTW.......loooooove those pics ...are those from Man with the golden Arm or Pal Joey...i know Kim was in Pal Joey..but i think she was in The Man with the golden arm to...so i think there from that am i right?
