Yep, Bansi. The bullet-proof vest didn't offer much protection against the garote.
-
WTG Bansi! It's Jack Black.
-
I personally prefer the Louis Jourdan Drac that was done in 3 hrs. for PBS. It was the first time they really showed the sensual side of vampirsm...predating Frank Langella's try at that angle by 7 or 8 years. Remember Halloween will soon be here: as Count Floyd would say: "Scary Stuff! Eh, kids?"
-
I hear tell the actor is rather shallow.

Thanks for da Goddfadder questions Bansi. Was not able to check back but a coupla times after Sat. and both times the correct ans was up. Knew 'em all except Mama Corleone's first name. Can expand on one answer. Mike's first wife's full name was Apollonia Vitelli. One last one for the road. What was the fish that signaled Luca Brasi's demise wrapped in besides the paper? Can ya do GF II next Wkend?

According to my info it was Sinatra, who backed out because it was too similar to his actual life and would hurt his career.

He ran the Genco Pura Olive Oil Company. If you want me to desist Bansi, I will.

Got a tri-bond here. Name the actor. "Dead Man Walking" "The Cable Guy" "Mars Attacks"
-
Santino Alfreddo Michael Constanzia and Tom Hagen was adopted.
-
Was it Long Branch? All I remember is that it was in a mall on long island and that Sonny was killed at the toll booth for a causeway.

Damn! I read this question b4 I was logged in. In the length of time the log-in took it was answered! Vito Andolini took the name of Corleone the town in Sicily where he was born.
-
Actually it was a 55 minute rant by George Takei about what a Bastar* William Shatner is and how Capt. Kirk got all the broads.
-
" Mar Attacks!"

Don't forget Bob Fosse. He won 4 too.

Who hosted/narrated "O'Henry's Full House"?

Littletramplover: it's high praise indeed to be compared to someone's "irritating" 87-year old grandfather!
No, I get the point you're making. The producers essentially said: " Let's distort and falsify one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century in order to accomodate the pretentions of one of the most shallow, illogical, melodramatic, and inane love stories ever written." I can see the sequel: "Vietnam" where the love-child of the nauseating triangle from "Pearl Harbor" follows in his dad's footsteps and is shot down over North Vietnam and held prisoner in Hanoi. His lover, a Hollywood actress, nobily allows the country to view her as a traitor so that she can make a visit to Ho Chi Minh which is all a diversion so that she and her entouage can rescue him from a prison camp. Paty will LOVE it! After the historic rescue THEY have a child who grows up to be....Sean Penn. -
This was the last line of what film? "And behind the conqueror in the chariot rode a slave, holding a golden crowm above him and whispering in his ear, 'All glory is fleeting".

Actually little you AND Harnett were wrong. WWII had been going on for over 2 yrs at this point. They called it WWII also. Russia entered it in June 1941 ..6 months previous. So to say that it STARTED.... Many technical & historic flaws. Affleck fighting the Germans while on assignment wearing an AMERICAN uniform? Can you say violation of neutrality? NEVER happened. Submarines sailing with Nagumo's fleet to Pearl? Subs never EVER acompany a fleet. Their function is to ambush enemy shipping and to serve as scouts. PLUS they would have slowed the fleet down by at least 10 knots. Affleck and Harnett go on the Doolittle raid. HA! Doolittle wanted only the best B-25 bomber pilots to learn how to take off in a short enough distance to be able to be launched from an aircraft carrier. As single engine fighter pilots, these 2 would first have had to LEARN how to fly a twin engined plane THEN learned how to fly a B-25...a process of MONTHS with no guarantee that they would ever be any good! I could go on but I think you get the idea.

WTG Classicsfan it was Jimmy Piersall.
-
"Is it 'haddock?" "Datsa funny. I gotta haddock too."

What was the name of the Redsox outfielder portrayed by Anthony Perkins in "Fear Strikes Out"? No, it wasn't Norman Bates... he played short stop for the Phillies.
