WTG Feaito! Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I was going to add the names of Woodcock, "Sweet Face" and "News" Carver as a hint.

One more for Alix: "What makes the muskrat guard his musk?"
-
Lord Baltimore...Joe La Force....E.F. Harriman
-
Yes Brad, WTG it's Hud. IMO Paul Newman's best performance. Seldom (If ever) has a Bast*rd been portrayed with so much appeal.
-
More quotage: (All from the same scene BTW) "How many honest men you know? Price fixing, crooked TV games shows, souped-up expense accounts... By the time you separate the sinners from the saints you're lucky to end up with Abraham Lincoln."
-
Christina mentions "the Queen Bee " in "Mommie Dearest." She says she hated the film because it acurately portrayed Joan at her bitchy, controlling worst.
-
Just recently saw this and I agree Stlgal, it is pretty good but you're right; how can ya beat Bogey?

Why is everyone guessing "Anatomy of a Murder" to these quote Questions ? Lol. (it IS a great film BTW) Here's a double hint: 1. It's not a courtroom film. 2. further quotage..." Let us dip our bread in that gravy while it is still HOT!"

" I say the law was meant to be interpreted in a leniant manner. Some times I lean to one side ofit, sometimes I lean the other way."
-
WTG Bggalaxy! The quote was from the scene where the prosecutor at the court marshall asked if the sailor liked Capt. Queeg.
-
Paty, don't you mean she explained about the "birds and the birds"?

-
"Take the con Mr. Sulu. Ahead warp factor 1." Hey wait a minute didn't the Japanese Takei play the Vietnamese Capt. Nim in "The Green Berets? They should have gotten someone from S.E. Asia to play him. Ohh Ohh ! I'm TELLIN'!!!!

My favorite scene from "Duel"... When Dennis Weaver slaps the sandwich out of the trucker's hand whom he thinks is the lunatic trying to kill him.... check out the distance and trajectory on that puppy! That is one sandwich headed over the right field wall. Kills me every time I see it.

Phony Bennett ?

-
Lolite...good guess but no. Here's a hint: Said by Lee Marvin to E.G. Marshall.
-
MJ: I believe they were on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY and the photos were in a book of his art. "Christ in Urine" was a crucifix with Jesus on it, place in a bottle of pee...now that's ART! There were some other things of this ilk also. It's not THAT you offend but WHOM you offend. My main objection was that according to some people, somehow it was censorship if taxpayer money wasn't used to fund this crap. But I don't hear any noise from the same people about the ACTUAL censorship of these cartoons!

Eli Wallach?

Just remembered this bit. The Senator is addressing congress (In Manchurian Candidate) and says "I have here in my pocket the names of... (sees bottle of Heinz Ketchup)...FIFTY SEVEN card-carrying communists in the U.S. government."
-
Well MaCarthy was OBSCENELY parodied in "The Manchurian Candidate", although the film's premise does admit that the commies were infiltrating the US govt.
-
"Mother of MERCY! Is this the end of Rico?.....NYAH"
-
"What makes the Hottentot so hot? Who put the ape in apricot? Whadda they got that I ain't got?.......COURAGE!!!"
-
" Sure I liked him....not a lot, but I liked him...he was strange."
