My apologies path. I seldom get the chance to post at home for some reason (aol?). When I got on at home and logged in it recognized me I thought GREAT! Then I noticed you answered correctly so I replied and again it accepted my post (even though I logged in - it does not always let me post)so I was on a roll. I just forgot to put (bggalaxy) at the end.

your right eddie. We cringe everytime that line is uttered. I always wonder what they were thinking when they left it in.

I watched her on "Inside the Actors Studio" and came away with the impression that she wasn't arrogant at all. In fact I think I became a bigger fan of hers. She was always talking about her dumb moves, insecurities, and self bashing. It made her "human". She was constantly laughing at herself. -
Barefoot in the Park - Is there only one guess per clue please let me know. If so ignore this guess - lol

I think Alice Adams might fit in this catagory. I have only seen the Hepburn/MacMurry version and thought it was great. The family life, dreams, and status was so much a part of this film you felt the weight of each character. It definiately was not a "Andy Hardy" house hold.

Happy Birthday! You have me thinking of the first movie I might have seen. I know it must have been a Disney film. My earliest memory is The Incredible Journey, I was 3 1/2 or 4. It's really hard to say if my parents took us to anything before this. It seems we were always going to the drive in theaters in the old station wagon. I remember playing at the play grounds near the screen more than the movies. Probably because we would fall asleep before the double feature was over. Thanks for stirring up such great history. Up in this neck of the woods we have one drive in theater left and last summer we packed up my daughter in the mini van and saw a double feature - she loved it! The only thing missing was the playground area, it had long since been removed.

Hey Keith, have you seen Moulin Rouge? You may may like this because they do covers of several hits throughout the film.

I was clueless and waiting for more clues. Still clueless so this is a guess for another one. Outlaw Josey Wales

B. Stanwyck, A. Hepburn, S. Pleshette, I. Stevens, J. Arthur, to name a few.

That's so funny you should say that about Crouse. My wife and I started watching this film a few years back and her acting in this kept bugging the hell out of us. We did finish the film and did not care to see it again. We have seen her in several other films and she was just fine (I don't think she was ever the lead in these other films). One of us would always say "Oh, thats that actress from the con movie." Maybe her job in that film wasn't so "bad" - we've seen that film once and remember her from it.

I did see Gangs of New York and was very disappointed. I can see why it didn't win. (you all can jump all over me now). I thought it started out with a lot of promise then fizzled out. I think this might have been a case of expecting more (based off of previews and hype) before I even sat in the seat. I did like Day Lewis' work in this film.

I hope I didn't confuse you feaito, on my home computer I'm the pss guy. It's just it seldom allows me to log on there. It will welcome me, but switches to guest if I try to reply. So it is a crap-shoot to post from home - sometimes (rarely) it stays on my name and accepts the post.

I'm a fan of this movie and taped it last night to replace an old copy I had. I was hoping it would be the widescreen version - read here it was not. (Have not watched the tape yet). Oh well, it is still a great film, maybe next time it will be shown in LBX.
