  3. There's two laserdisc collections: Vitaphone Shorts: A 70th Anniversary Collection and Swing Swing Swing (which concentrates, obviously, on musical shorts). Unfortunately, neither has been re-released on DVD.
  4. Definitely, Kevin Brownlow's HOLLYWOOD, but also Brownlow's UNKNOWN CHAPLIN, BUSTER KEATON: A HARD ACT TO FOLLOW and HAROLD LLOYD: THE THIRD GENIUS. But also... An amazing 6 part BBC documentary, THE RKO STORY, made in 1987 when a lot of witnesses were still with us--and not just actors and directors, but also sound technicians, assistant directors, all sorts of people with amazing stories to tell who had never been interviewed before (or since). Another BBC documentary, THE ORSON WELLES STORY. Two and a half hours from 1988, centering around a long interview with Welles himself.
