fantstargate

I seen this as a kid 30 yrs ago and wanted to see again ever since but dont know the name of it. Heres what I remember of it. Middle ages, war between kingdom and another group. A witch/sorceress that lived in a hillside with a magic entrance that disappeared.The witch had a cyclops for a helper.Towards the end the witch took away the main characters gift of combat skills when he reneged on there deal.He died in battle,I think against skeleton,s?? Animation similair to Sinbad etc.. Please help
