  1. Did you know that Rock Hudson was gay. His death from aids kickstarted the Aids Awareness Movement in the 80's.
  2. I have to give my endorsement for this film. It was filmed here in Columbia, Tn. My cousin was a production assistant on the movie. This is a good movie for anyone who has daughters.
  3. Did you know there was a fire at Universal Studios, Florida in the early 90's. MGM went up in flames and so did the town of Amityville(the set).People at Universal say that the fire was part of the curse of the Amityville Horror. Lots of old movies were lost in the blaze. 4. Did you know that Norman Bates' house from Psycho is on display at Universal Studios, Florida. It is the original set. "Hello, Mother"
  5. Did you know that Ed Wood did not believe in using the outtake. In all of his movies the first time it was shot, that was what they went with.
  6. Did you know that Frank Wolff committed suicide in his Rome hotel room.
  7. Did you know that Burt Reynolds and John Wayne are both bald. When you see them with hair, it's just a toupe.
  8. DeForrest Kelley preferred playing the role of the cowboy to the that of doctor on Star Trek. "Damn it, Jim. I'm a cowboy not a doctor!"
  9. Did you know that in Godzilla vs. Gigan, the fight between Godzilla, Anguirus, Gigan, and King Ghidorah is just old stock footage from previous Godzilla fights. Godzilla was the only monster actually used in the film besides Anguirus.
  10. Did you know in War of the Gargantuas, part of the flashback scene was cut out. It shows Sanda, the brown Frankenstein, eating a woman. This would have given the movie an R rating.
  11. Did you know the character of Han Solo from Star Wars was based upon the cowboys of the old west. Giddyap with lasers.
  12. This is how this works. If you know some unusual fact about a movie or movie star, write did you know and then the information. I'll start it by giving an example. Did you know that Godzilla in King Kong vs. Godzilla was too big for the set. Because the Godzilla suit was twice as big as King Kong, the production crew had to resize the suit so that Godzilla would be King Kong's size.
  13. I went back and looked up Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. The info is gone. Fandango either dropped it or never had it. Message was edited by: ask
  14. My source is fandango.com for the theatres. The site lists two Journey to the center of the earths as coming out.
  15. Journey To The Center of the Earth 3D was based on the 1998 version with Treat Williams. They say they're going to rerelease that version in theatres.

    Dreams

I had a dream last night. John Wayne decided to do one more film after The Shootist. He decided to do a remake of Wake of The Red Witch in color. I was watching this in my dream. What dreams do you have? Message was edited by: ask
  17. I'm sorry if anyone was wanting to buy destroy all monsters. I just bought the last copy from amazon.
  18. I took the initiative to report ck to tcm. He shouldn't last too long, unless tcm ignores what I sent them.
  19. I don't know what to make of this Godzilla movie. Yet again, Yoshimitsu Banno who did Godzilla vs. Hedorah is directing this film. It premieres next year in Japan. Godzilla vs. Hedorah is considered the darkest of the Godzilla series. So, I don't know what to expect from Banno.
  20. I could do with more John Wayne films. You don't see that many John Wayne on TCM anymore. I would also like to see some Godzilla and Gamera films. TNT, the sister channel of TCM used to show Godzilla movies, I don't know why they can't show some on here.
  21. Something's wrong with the suggestion forum. When I try to go to it, the suggestions don't appear at the bottom and it's also kicking me out for no reason.
