  1. Besides all the films you have mentioned, you should make a point of seeing Roz at her dramatic best in "Craig's Wife" (1936) directed by Dorothy Arzner, which was later remade as "Harriet Craig" (1950) with Joan Crawford. I agree that she was also excellent in "The Women" (1939), "The Citadel" (1938), "Night Must Fall" (1937) and "His Girl Friday" (1940). "No Time For Comedy" (1940) with Jimmy Stewart, is a very special film, IMHO, and she delivers a great performance. I'd like to see her in "Take a Letter Darling" (1942) with Fred MacMurray and "My Sister Eileen" (1942). In her later years, she was great in "PicNic" (1955), "Auntie Mame" (1958) and "Gypsy!" (1962) and in excellent form in the highly amusing "The Trouble with Angels" (1966) and "Rosie!" (1968). Roz was definitely a versatile actress!!
  2. No Ken.... keep trying Clue # 3: A Jealous husband
  3. Not that one Sandy Clue # 2: An "international" Playboy
  4. Could it be the 1938 version with Reginald Owen?, which airs on TCM and has been released on DVD.
  5. Well, I must admit I look it up, never seen it "Pretty Poison" with Tuesday Weld and Tony Perkins?
  6. Thanks TCM Staff for fixing the problem concerning the month schedule, now it lists year of release, cast and format (LBX). Thanks so much for listening to us, fans of your Station and Website, and being so diligent and prompt to respond. I'm thoroughly satisfied
  7. > Hello - year of release is there, so is letterbox, cc > - which are on the right hand side. We haven't added > cast yet, but we will be doing this at a later date > (promise) - it is planned to nest directly under the > title. Thank you for your input! > > -TCM web staff Thanks for the feedback TCM web staff, but I mean that that info is not featured in the "month schedule". Not at all. It used to be there. The layout is fine and the new Look cute, but the info is missing. Hope it'll be included again. Thanks again!
  8. I think it's "The World of Henry Orient" with Peter Sellers, Angela Lansbury et al. It's very, very funny!!!
  9. Not only the synopsis Lynn, I miss the year of release and the cast too, plus other details that were listed (cc, LBX, etc.)
  10. Rex Harrison and Wendy Hiller in "Major Barbara"
  11. My condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. I have a signed still of Ms. Tyler and she looks just radiant.
  12. I enjoyed "Stage Fright" Path, although it's no masterpiece by any means, it's still an absorbing film, featuring an alluring Dietrich and a smart performance by Jane Wyman, aptly supported by Todd and Michael Wilding. The "flashback" really fooled me and the film's conclusion surprised me! Hitchcock handled very cleverly the situation!
  13. Yes Deborah, great to see you again on the Boards!
  14. I saw that film long ago. I'd love to see it again. Thanks for the extra-info Mongo.
  15. I just saw this film the other day! It's Richard Todd!
