Yes CORRECT VF- *The Furies* - I'm amazed there weren't more responses to this one. This is such a good film and the cast is GREAT. Barbara Stanwyck and Walter Huston as father and daughter and Judith Anderson as the misery of a stepmother. This was Huston's last film, he died right after completion of the film. I could talk about this one for hours. I had some more clues, but glad you recognized the film. Good job, visual- your turn

My response to you was cut off in the middle of a sentence, so I retyped my last response. That's probably what is showing at 9:43, is my guess.

Correct, fin- See that's wasn't so tough. In the film it's called the Empire Hotel, where Madeleine/Judy was living when Scotty finds her. It was really named the York Hotel originally. It was renamed The Hotel Vertigo in honor of the film. Thanks for playing this one with me,fin and now it's your thread.

Not that one, c'mon you can do this. PS- I live on the other side of the country.

Your research is incomplete. One of your answers is correct. Just reverse the order of the name. It's located at 940 Sutter St. SF. Thanks for doing the research, a little more and you've got it.

Instead of cash, the father uses IOU's that are called TC's.

The film was on the other night on TCM. It's not a difficult question, and a little research will definitely give you guys the answer. Think about films set in San Francisco!
