  1. As a kid I thought Gardner McKay was gorgeous. My sister and I would watch Adventures In Paradise and swoon over him.

My picks would also be- Tyrone Power, Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Burt Lancaster, Robert Taylor, Steve McQueen, of course Cary Grant and Michael Caine. Burt Lancaster is probably my favorite, that kiss on the beach with Deborah Kerr. Steve McQueen and that kiss during the chess scene with Faye Dunaway in the Thomas Crown Affair is a favorite too.

Add on a Young Clint Eastwood- a little slice of heaven

  2. Esketh, Lady Edwina - Myrna Loy - *The Rains Came*

1st- Alan- welcome to the boards

We like to put the last name first- it makes it easier to know what letter we're up to

also totally agree- *Treasure of Sierra Madre* is a great, great film.

  3. TCM I'm sure has shown *Love Letters* but not in a very, very long time- like years- that's why you don't remember when.Beautiful film. Not just TCM but hasn't shown up on any station in years.

I just checked the schedule TCM will be showing Aug 17 at 6:00 pm. I'm thrilled!!!! This is so weird. Can't wait to see and record *Love Letters*

  4. *The Night Has A Thousand Eyes* , *Christmas Holiday* , *So Big* (Jane Wyman and Barbara Stanwyck versions), *Lucy Gallant* , *The Blue Veil* , *Porgy and Bess* (the best one in the bunch) *Female On The Beach* and of course *Letty Lyndon* ( is anyone old enough to have ever seen it?)

Not because they're great films, because I haven't seen these since I was a kid. (not Letty Lyndon of course)
