As I wrote TCM will show Million Dollar Baby on Wed. watch the film. Just to quickly answe,r her friends and boyfriend see a change in her and they don't like it. I don't do spoilers. -
I'd rather Eddie showed The Loretta Young film The Accused since it hasn't been on TCM in years and Cause For Alarm is shown more often.

Not sure, but I thought so. Can't find a list of all the Noir Alley films. Maybe MCO knows. It's definitely been shown on TCM, just not sure if it's been on Noir Alley.
-
Very true but I hate to think that would happen. That poster seemed to have a real grudge, sounded like it was personal. who knows. Anyway, Eddie if you're out there please come back. We'd love to" talk" to you, so many of us love Noir Alley and your takes on the films.
-
I'm pretty sure Eddie started Noir Alley on TCM in 2015. I think it was called the Summer of Darkness. He actually showed up on the bds. to talk to us. Unfortunately a poster was bad mouthing him when he showed up and he never came back to the bds.

It's not the Diablolique with Sharon Stone I'm referring to it's the original with Simon Signoret. the same with Breathless, not the Richard Gere version I'm referring to and Diabolique has been shown on Noir Alley and so has Rififi. Eddie has shown films on Noir Alley that had been shown before on TCM. Yes you should see Rififi, it's a great film.
-
Please forgive if I'm having a senior moment here but in the past Diabolique, Rififi and Breathless I'm sure have been shown on Noir Alley. It'sbeen a long time since I've seen Breathless, it's subtitled?

"EXCLUSIVE INSIGHTS FROM BEN MANKIEWICZ"
lavenderblue19 replied to Bronxgirl48's topic in General Discussions
During the interview Ben did with James Caan on Sunday Morning, Ben said that Honeymoon In Vegas was a very underrated film. I couldn't agree more. It's such a funny comedy. the whole cast is great and Caan was great as a mobster type in it. I was so happy Ben mentioned the film. I said this before, Ben did a good job with this interview. -

I don't think that episode of Top Chef was scripted. Did you watch that episode? If you did, I think you'd see that exchange between Bourdain and Fabio Viviani was real. Bourdain insulted him and Viviani was really angry. This chef had just opened a restaurant and that exchange may have affected the chef's business in a negative way. Bourdain told this chef his food was horrible. -
Correct Miles. Hans Conried. Funny, very intelligent and talented man. You get the extra credit, since it's summer, a loaded with everything on it ice cream sundae is on it's way to you. Excellent work and it's your thread.
