It's already been pointed out that Alex was already known before he became Jepardy's host. He certainly didn't cheapen Jeoprady LOL. You're certainly entitled to your opinion however, you probably should watch the guest hosts before forming an opinion. Mike Richards was the executive producer who guest hosted Jeopardy and he was fine but since you "heard" he was good and didn't see the show yourself not sure how you can give an educated opinion about who should host. As I said before, all the guest hosts I thought did a fine job and when a permanent host is selected I'm sure they will do a fine job as host.

Exactly, that's my point. They are not going to hire Joe schmoe off the street It has to be some sort of celebrity in whatever field.

I've liked all the hosts too. Thought they've all done a good job. I thought Aaron Rodgers did a very job of hosting. Buzzy was fine, Ken was too. No one will ever be as good as Alex was but Jeopardy has to continue and we'll have to like and accept the new host.

For your information, TCM considers the 12am Saturday NIGHT showing just that. NOT a Sunday morning showing but a Saturday night showing. The 10 am showing on Sunday is the Sunday morning showing. Brad is ok, however, of the 3 during the champ tournaments he won the least amount compared to james and Ken Jennings. Brad may have been the big money winner in the past but not in the recent tournaments. Pat Sajak, no way. I think Wheel of Fortune is about as far as he can go. Why even question that post.. Obviously 12:30am is literally Sunday morning, however to most of us 12:30 am is still nightime and that was what the poster meant. That 12:30 am showing would be considered the Saturday night showing of the noir., The Sunday morning time slot is 10:00 am that is the Sunday morning time showing of the noir. Not at all confusing.

Sepia, I understand how you feel, for me though, always being a golden age film fan, it was hoot seeing Ann and the rest. I didn't and don't think any less of them or their contributions to films. I just thought it was fun seeing them and I still respected them. We'll agree to disagree on this one, although believe me I understand how you feel.

Do you mean the medicare commercials now being aired? It sort of freaks me out, remembering him as a young man, he didn't age all that well. I cannot stand all those medicare advantage commercials because it seems every other ad is for that. It's overkill.
