Kokomo - The Beach Boys - here's some trivia, Doris' Day's son Terrry Melcher co-wrote the song - the movie was Cocktail
song that mentions an alcholic beverage in the title( I'm thinking of one that was a character's name in the movie, even though it's also name of a drink)

LOL, of course it is. Thank you Miles. According to Patricia Hitchcock, Smokey and The Bandit starring Burt Reynolds and Sally Field was not only the last film Hitch watched, it was also his guilty pleasure favorite movie!!! Patricia in an interview said that Hitchcock screened movies every Wednesday, before he died, Smokey and The Bandit was the last film that he screened. I thought this was a very interesting bit of information about Hitchcock. Thanks for reading all the clues Miles. Great work and I appreciate you taking the time to answer the question. Your thread

Thanks Miles.
Since I did the one before your question, I'll pass and leave the Thread Open

Since it's been a week since first posted the question and the clues are definitely there this is the last clue.
The star was quite a heartrob during this time period. He and his co-star were romantically involved in the film and in real life. He did a controversial centerfold for a popular magazine. He had a recurring role on a long running western series. If all these clues don't get you all to the right answer then I'll supply the answer. -
Stayin Alive - Bee Gees - song was #`1 on the billboard for a month - Saturday Night Fever
another hit theme song from a popular movie late '60's or '70's

TV films were also made based on the film series. Hitchcock's guilty pleasure film was the firstonre in the original film series.
-
The 2 leads were in a romantic relationship in real life. If you read all the clues I think you'll be able to answer the question correctly.
-
There were sequels to the film. The 1st was a huge box office smash. not so much the other films. This is an action comedy.

His second wife was Gloria De Haven and my favorite movie for her was "The Doctor and the Girl" which starred Glenn Ford, Janet Leigh with Charles Coburn and the very beautiful Nancy Davis.
Yes, John Payne and Gloria DeHaven are the couple. Good work, Your thread Princess

I realize you have to have the last word and joke but here's the difference, I actually had that great dream about Tommy Boy. I hope Sophia does show up in your dreams and you have as good a time as I had with Tom

Has anyone had a dream in which you realized you were in a dream?
I have on several occasions that I can recall. It's very liberating inasmuch as you know you can do anything in it and there will be no repercussions. And, yes, I DID have Sophia in one of those dreams with me. Or, if it wasn't Sophia, it sure was someone who looked like her.
Yes but Tom was too busy with me in my dream to wander off into yours. So, keep your Sophia dream and stay out my dream with Tom Selleck!

My dream perked up when Sophia told him, "I don't care if this is your first rodeo or not. Take a hike!" then she turned her attention back to me.
Yes Tom, only in your dreams LOL

He wrote Right? I answered his question. David Lynch directed The Elephant Man not Anne Bancroft. That Eric, is the answer to the question he asked. No further comment is necessary.,
