Thanks next Game Shows in the classic time period. I'll describe the show, please give the title. Extra credit if you give us the name of the host of the show 1. Win prizes within a time limit by doing stunts 2. Students compete 3. The show would end with the host and winning contestant blowing a kiss to the audience there and at home. 4. Audience contestants came in costumes 5 .Couples would answer questions that were sometimes funny, sometimes embarrassing, usually about their relationship 6. Prizes were given when contestants guessed right about merchandise, you needed to a savvy shopper to win 7. Hardships told by woman contestants, usually the woman with the best sob story won 8. Celebrities played a version of Charades 9. A famous celebrity hosted a quiz show, his trade mark theme song was played and a rubber duck on a string would show up 10. The host read about a contestants unusual occupation or something the contestant experienced and the celebrity panel would guess which one of the 3 contestants he was talking about. Tell us the name of the tv show and extra credit if you tell us the name of the host of the show ?????????????????

LoL, You got me there. but writing that, I'd never compare those 2 films. I think masterpiece might have 2 different definitions for those 2 films. I don't consider Deliverence an "Overipe Melodrama" it's a very powerful, compelling film. The similiarity between the 2 films is they both take place in the South and the term white trash applies to some of the characters. Masterpiece may have been an overstatement for Claudelle Inglish but it is a worthwhile film to watch if for no other reason the cast. Diane McBain, she's very beautiful in the film and some Warner Bros. tv stars who were popular at the time. Arthur Kennedy and Constance Ford and Chet Akins are excellent in the film. It's a good film and if you get a chance to watch, I think it's a worthwhile watch. As an aside, in the Information Please thread, two films that have been asked about for titles are Something Wild, the Carroll Baker film and Claudelle Inglish. I know because I've given those 2 titles in response more than a few times over the years.

Thanks for the reminder Kingrat. I watch Claudelle Inglish whenever it's shown. LOL it is the best "white trash masterpiece"

Excellent Chaya, Peebs and Princess. It's a tie. You all answered 5 each.Yes, 12 is Vitalis. Not just Elizabeth for Lustre Cream Shampoo, countless other actresses too. If you're at a certain age, you'll remember these commercials and products. I had a bottle of Arpege. It's funny because with all the shampoos on the market, there has been a demand for Lustre Cream Shampoo these last few years. At any rate, thanks for playing . It's your turn to post one Chaya or Princess or Peebs, you can decide who gets to post the next one.,

The wife had a relative who was very famous and well respected in his field., he's not alive but is still known today. Not in show business, however, some of his creations do show up in films and tv shows every so often.

4 and 8 are correct, no to 12. I have a feeling you may be too young to know products like Brylcream and this product, they are not women's shampoos or women's hair conditioners. this was a men's product like Brylcream. 5,7,11,12,13,14 still open
-
Princess, all good but 12, close but no cigar. Not Brylcream but close, it's the other one popular at the time. Still open, 4. 5. 7, 9. 11, 12, 13, 14

Thanks Princess next He was a handsome actor who did star in some films and often played the 2nd to the star. He was in Westerns, Dramas, War films, Comedies, Noirs, a Muiscal. Sadly he did not live to a ripe old age. He and his Wife were in 2 films together. She was an Oscar and Golden Globe winning actress. She was in Westerns, Dramas, Comedies, Noirs. She was seen quite often on tv shows. Sadly she did not live to a ripe old age either. Couple, the 2 films they were in together and name films for each ?????? ( this one should go down quickly)
