I have to say I know I saw Change of Habit on tv a few years back and I think it was TCM. I really respect the hard work MCO puts into this and you maybe correct in this case but I do remember seeing the film and I think it might have been TCM.

Both are 1960's tv shows. In the 3rd season of the 2nd tv show, the character had a change of careers so the format on the show changed.

The character in the episode of the first tv show and the other tv show were played by film and tv actors that were well known. Both shows had famous guest stars that appeared in episodes. Both shows, the character name and the 2 actors ?????
