He was in the rock group Dino, Desi and Billy, Desi was Lucy and Desi's son. Olivia Hussey played Juliet in the film version of Romeo and Juliet and was popular for awhile and Dorothy Hamill can be seen in informercials and commercials, a great ice skater.. I remember when Dean Paul died. Dean Martin became a recluse after that for awhile, he was so stricken with grief when his son died ????????

He is drugged and robbed by a Chinese woman and her father. He comes to the next day, only to find he's missed his ship and labeled a deserter.
  12. Perfect Miles, you covered all the bases I asked for. Julie London, Jack Webb and Bpbby Troup. Even though Jack and Julie were divorced and Julie and Bobby were married, they were all friends and Jack hired Julie and Bobby for the tv show. Their tv show was Emergency that all 3 worked on. Bobby Troup did write the song Get Your Kicks On Route 66. Julie did have a hit with Cry Me A River. Excellent Miles, your thread
  13. Thanks Swithin, William Keighley also directed James Cagney in many films. next This is a two'fer. The wife was an actress and singer. Her first husband was an actor, writer, director and producer. Her 2nd husband was an actor, singer, songwriter. One of the songs he wrote is still a popular Jazz standard. There is an interesting tie in with the 3 of them. Who are they, and what is that bond between the 3 ???? ( extra credit for naming husband #2's popular song he wrote)
  14. Genevieve Tobin and William Keighley., they both lived into their 90's. The song she introduced on Broadway was Cole Porter's You Do Something To Me, the film he co-directed with Michael Curtiz was The Adventures of Robin Hood, the Christmas movie he directed was The Man Who Came To Dinner, Bette Davis must be the actress ( it was Monty 's film although she received top billing in the film) ??????????

Yes, to Abbott and Costello's tv show and she played Charles Farrell's girlfriend and neighbor on My Little Margie. Good work Miles, your thread.
  16. Some of the actors she worked with in films were Robert Young, Joan Fontaine, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Basil Rathbone.
  17. It is Claudine Longet and Andy Williams and you're also correct about Andy appearing in more than 1 movie. Although they were uncredited roles and singing in a chorus not speaking roles like the one he had in I'd Rather Be Rich I think. I purposely left out her trial clue to see if anyone would get the couple without it. Good work Swithin, it's your thread
  18. Thanks Miles. I watched Days of Our Lives for years and remember Doug and Julie. next She was a singer, actress and dancer. Her husband's career was much bigger than hers. She did appear on episodes of popular tv shows in the '60's and 70's and had a few hit songs. She was beautiful ( she's still alive) and not born the USA. He was a singer and actor. He started out as a child singer. He was very popular and well known, although he only appeared in 1 film, it was as a singer that he is remembered. They had children together and did divorce. The Couple and mention for extra credit some songs she sang and a few of his very big hits ?????????
  19. Glad you deleted that post because this thread was meant as a tribute thread. Big deal about the divorces, yes that's part of his history but not about his talent as a Broadcaster and that's how he should be remembered by the public. His divorces were his business, not ours and had no effect on my life, or yours. He also donated and raised tons of money for heart disease. He was responsible for hours and hours of informative and entertaining interviews and that's how I'll remember Larry King.
  20. Obviously hamradio since he died the thread was meant as a tribute thread. Be respectful, it's the DECENT thing to do. Save the nasty comments for tyrants and dictators.what did Larry ever do to you? LOL
  21. Now that's respectful, lorna LOL. Larry won 2 Peabody Awards and an Emmy and 10 Cable ACE awards. Many people he interviewed are writing glowing tributes to him. Too bad you never got to appreciate his conribution. Your loss
  22. Hey Vidor and Lorna, this is a tribute thread to someone who has passed. If you have nothing nice to say, then don't
  23. Thanks Miles. I've seen this film so many times, I even remember seeing it on tv when I was a kid. Next This beautiful actress played the lead actresses' friend in a Hitchcock film. She was American born and used an accent in the film and other films. Although her role in this Hitch film was not big, she is easily recognizable since she had roles in 2 very popular 1950's tv shows. Actress and the Hitch film ?? ( extra for the 2 tv shows she's known for)

If you want to play games and trivia, then you need to post an answer to the question posted. Don't know why you posted that photo. Please remove the above photo you posted. 6.
