I think it would have been awful if Alex hadn't been included in the TCM Remembers tribute. I guess those that had a negative comment on Youtube have nothing better to think about. ,Not only was Alex involved in television for decades, he was a huge supporter of TCM. He was at TCM film festivals and TCM cruises and a friend of RO's. Alex loved classic films. Anyone complaining about his inclusion in the TCM Remembers tribute should have their head and heart examined, because there's a hole in both. I don't understand your question. Alex is part of the TCM Remembers Trubute it's been airing all week on TCM. what is your question ? Who is they and do about what? Are you asking about a host for Jeopardy? Ken Jennings will be the host starting January, 11 until they decide who will be the replacement for Alex. Not sure if that's what you're asking about.

I loved Chad and Jeremy and still turn up the sound on the radio whenever Summer Song and Yesterday's Gone are played. Their music was part of my early teen age years. I remember when they appeared on the Patty Duke Show. They seemed so sweet. RIP Chad Stuart

My sister ran the the showroom of the jewelry designer, the list of celebrities she met is extensive. she lunched with many of them. Lauren Bacall, Duke and Duchess of Windsor ( she said he was a dirty old man) and the most memborable was Greta Garbo. It was the one and only time she asked for an autograph. Garbo was my mother's favorite actress and my sister wanted it for my mom. Garbo refused. Laura Nyro and my sister were good friends growing up. Laura was a wonderful, sweet girl. We would go over to her apartment and she came to ours tons of times. Our big regret was that Laura invited us to one of her concerts years later but we couldn't go. We were all so sad when we heard she had passed away. A great loss to her family, friends and fans.

I met many celebrities in the 1960's and 1970's, but not in CA, it's was in NYC. I met them thru work and friends. Never asked for autographs, we were forbidden to do that at work and I thought it was rude to ask when I met some outside of work. My best experoence was the 3 1/2 hours I spent with Elizabeth Taylor at the Plaza Hotel. Richard Burton was in the next room but he didn't ccome out., Meeting Elizabeth Taylor was the most thrilling and yes, I was completely star struck. I worked for a famous jewelry designer, that's how I met Soiphia Loren, Hedy Lamarr, Faye Dunaway, Ali Mcgraw, Jackie Kennedy, Truman Capote, Joan Rivers, Diana Ross, Jim Backus, list goes on and on. At a lunch counter in Manhattan, Joel Grey sat next to me. At a press screening of some films, Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson sat behind me, and afterwards rode in an elevator with them. I've met Leonard Bernstein. I met Richard Thomas. At MoMA I met Peter Bogdanovich. I was friends with the cousin of director Larry Peerce. Having dinner once in a hamburger joint, Diane Keaton and Al Pacino were at the next table and the script of Godfather 2 was on the table and they were discussing their roles. Growing up, one of my best friends brother was a Broadway Producer. at one of his plays I got to meet Ben Vereen. I grew up in the Bronx. Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Penny and Gary Matrshall lived in our neighborhood. Robert Klein, the comedian lived 3 buildings away from mine on the same block, he went to the same elementary and JHS I did. All were memorable and I wish I had been older when I got to see and meet these celebrities, but still, they are precious memories.

That's correct Miles. The actress was Ingrid Bergman and the film was Notorious. Notorious and Spellbound were released less than a year apart. Under Capricorn ( don't like that film at all) was released 3 years later so not part of the clues. Hitchcock obviously made that story up about Bergman ( he had quite an imagination) LOL and yes it's been said that Alma resented his obsession with Ingrid and resented Hitchcock's collaboration with Ben Hecht on Notororius feeling pushed aside., Good work, your therad edited by me
