    12) "Rebecca"-- Olivier and Joan Fontaine are eating a chicken lunch in their car as George Sanders pops in and grabs a chicken leg.

I'll give it to you but it's not the one I was thinking about. The chicken breast and leg is specific to the the film I'm asking about since the lead actress asks the lead actor does he prefer a breast or leg. there is a sexual innuendo in the line.

Here's another hint for #12 - diamond necklace

My favorite scene in this film is when Dorothy McGuire sleeps in the barn because she's angry about the purchase of an organ.  Coop goes into the barn with a blanket to reconcile with her and then end up spending the night.  The next morning, a neighbor comes and visits and Cooper is plucking straw from his hair and shirt.  Yes, there is sex after marriage and grown children -- and it can be suggested with great charm and humor.

I love Friendly Persuasion, it's always been on my list of my favorite 10 movies. Besides the wonderful acting by everyone, the beautiful theme song Pat Boone sings, it's a beautiful film to look at. Filmed in such a tender, lovely way. the story is so sweet and touching. Nominated for 6 Oscars and I wish it had won some of those awards.

The only married couple I could think of who might fit the clue are Tyne Daly and Georg Stanford (sp?) Brown.  They both played cops.  He was on The Rookies and she was on Cagney & Lacy (sp?).  They were married to each other at the time.  I know Rookies was in the 1970's, unsure about C&L.

Excellent Chaya. The couple is Tyne Daly and George Stanford Brown. Cagney and Lacey ran for 7 years 1981-1988. Her other hit show was Judging Amy. She co-starred with Clint in the movie The Enforcer. She won her Tony for the re-do of Gypsy. She won 6 Emmy's. She played a cop on Cagney and Lacey.

George Stanford Brown's hit show was the 1970's tv show The Rookies. He played a cop on the show. He won an Emmy for directing an episode of Cagney and Lacey. He was in Stir Crazy and Bullit. He was in North and South and Roots and Roots The Next Generation, he played the same character role in the 2 Roots.

They were married for 24 years have3 kids, but did divorce.

Good work Chaya, now it is your turn to post one.

Well, I gave it a couple of days and no one ventured a guess.  It is from this past weekend's Noir Alley film "Suspense" with Barry Sullivan.  He finds Albert Dekker's ring in his drink.  Dekker had supposedly been killed in an avalanche some time previously.

Guess you and I are the only ones who watched Miles. Good work, your thread  :)
