Good question, honey!
My fave was West Side Story. I just love Natalie Wood. Now that I think about it, I must've watched Miracle on 34th Street about a zillion times. So, it's one of those! I can't decide!

*MACK THE KNIFE, BABY!! WOOHOO!*
I must've played that song a zillion times in my hs jazz band. Stupid trumpets got the melody

-
New line: think TV shows, not films
"lotsa curves, you bet, even more when you get"

*I'm nothing if not consistent...once again, I have no pictures!*
*So, that said, how's about present day Roger Moore and James Garner? Please, oh please, let me be right about one pair...just one!*
-
*Thomas Mitchell...another good call! Loved him as Scarlett's Daddy.*
*Film_Fatale...LOL!!!* "Best. Teapot. Ever." *Teehee!*

Casablancalover!!! You are SO right about Angela Lansbury! I LOVED her in National Velvet! That's one of my most favorite films of all time! Can you imagine? Jessica Fletcher - a boy crazy teenager? I LOVE it! Good pick!
Let's not forget the work she did in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Such a lovely teapot!

No offense, Mr. Holman, but I DON'T THINK SO!!
Come on, you didn't think I'd let that one go...did you?

By the way, that Wizard of Oz bit was very cute

-
Oh my gosh!! What a great idea for a thread! "Next line, please..." I love it!! Do it, do it! Who cares if there's one already? If there is, it's buried somewhere and who has the time to go digging for it? Not I! That's using your noodle, rohanaka! *applause*

*It doesn't matter who said it first as long as you meant it. I believe you did. Brava to you

> Thanks for mentioning him, Gus. I always think that too, when I see bio47's name on this thread. I certainly think that he would be very pleased that his thread is still going strong....that he was able to contribute something long lasting. I feel sad that he was going through a hard time, and got some flack for that. If he is still around somewhere, and was able to recover from his health problems, I hope he is happy.....

CCerini, how nice! It's nice to know that some people care. I wish I knew more of bio47's story, however. It seems like he just wants to keep this community together. I'm all for that.
So!
I apologize if I'm repeating myself...
"Whose brain {is this}?"
"Abby...normal."
"You gave me an abnormal brain?!"
and
"He vas.....my BOYFRIEND!"
all from Young Frankenstein (that's Frahn-ken-steen)

ILRM, honey....you ok? Ya sound a little frantic.

Not enough! Nobody in my house appreciates TCM like I do! SIGH! I try to watch it, but I either hear "I weally hate dis movie" or "ommigod, what the hell are you watching now?"
Sigh. I can't win

Yes, honey. That's a compliment

-
*It seems silly, but Yours, Mine, and Ours sort of inspires me. It's inspired me to appreciate my whole family even when we don't always get along; making appreciation pretty darn difficult. Know what I mean?*
-
*I just want to thank everyone for posting in this thread. I'll be taking a second look and, in some cases, a first look at some of the actors, actresses, and films mentioned. Y'all are awesome!*
*ILRM and MM, you two are a riot!*

-
*bobhopefan....YOU ARE AWESOME!! What a wonderful idea for a thread! Everyone needs a little happiness.
**Things that make me happy are, in no particular order...the exception being the first mentioned...my sons, unconditional love, my _amazing_ sister Jesse (as well as the rest of my family), my wonderful friends, music (I'm told I have great musical diversity), happy movies, Steve McQueen, horses, dogs, cats, animal lovers (lovers, not zealots), cereal, chocolate, cake, my neighbor's nachos and pigs in a blanket (OMG!!), ok....food in general, Dr. Tex (you know who you are), and this message board! WOOHOO!*
*There are plenty more things that make me happy and only one thing in particular that makes me unhappy....but, I'm not gonna say it.*
-
*"Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre." -Bette Midler in Hocus Pocus*
*I know it's not a classic movie, but it's still a great line. Very silly.*
-
Awwwww! Ding...thank you so much for your input (sorry for using your thread for this, Jesse...forgive me!!)! My grandfather's nickname was ding and seeing your name kinda tugged at my heartstrings a little bit. I just had to say that.
