So the song is not sung again after the Wicked Witch of the West is killed?

The version I saw went like this: 1. Witch tries to burn scarecrow. 2. Dorothy throws water on Witch. 3. Witch melts. 4. Soldier declares witch dead. 5. Soldiers shout, " All hail Dorothy". 6. Dorothy and other are shown approaching Wizard. No Ding Dong Song. Did you hear the song? Did your version have this scene? John

I just watched Wizard of Oz on TCM and can't believe they cut out the "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" song! I'm I the only one that noticed?
